The management there at Harbor Terrace was very good, very professional, and very caring. The place is very clean and very well organized. They have studios and they have one-bedrooms. They are clean, good size, and organized. I am impressed by the activities that they get everyone involved. This is definitely the nicest one and price wise the most reasonable.

I am in search of a facility for myself. I was able to visit Harbor Terrace, and they have just remodeled it. The maintenance of the place is kept pretty good. But I didn’t like the diet over here. They give the residents too many carbohydrates. Some of the people are becoming diabetic which should not be the case if they had a better diet. A lot of the medication they give them is unnecessary. Some of the staff interferes a lot with residents. They kind of need a little education because they enter rooms without knocking. They invade people's privacy which I don't think is right

I spoke to my brother on the phone today. He is unable to express himself well but was happy to note that a staff person was willing to give me the informatiion that I requested in a pleasant, helpful manner.
