I'm in Atria on Roslyn Harbor. I have spent 20 years in the military moving every two years. This is the smartest move I have ever made. The people are extremely friendly, courteous, and helpful. They will go out of their way to help you in anything that you need. The rooms are large and beautiful. The views are great. They have wonderful entertainment. They have everything you need. The food is not gourmet. It's an institutional type food, but it is more than adequate. You have a large choice and they will fix anything you ask them to fix. Housekeeping is outstanding. They clean once a week and they do an unbelievably great job. You have enough activity to keep you occupied all day. It's a little expensive, but for what they have available for you, it's more than worth it.

My mother has been living at the Atria of Roslyn Harbor for nearly five years. The staff is terrific, greeting all the residents by and making sure that all their needs are being met, The complex is currently undergoing a renovation and looks great. The Atria provides transportation to doctor's offices, local stores and cultural sites. While it is expensive, i believe that once you visit the complex, you'll be satisfied that it worth the cost.

Aesthetically, Atria on Roslyn Harbor is very pleasing. They take good care of you, the food is good, and the company is very pleasurable. The staff is ever so lovely, very nice, very helpful and quite unusual in that respect. There's plenty of food. It all comes out of a very clean kitchen. I enjoy each meal. Right now, they're redoing a great deal of the building and we're getting carpeting, new painted walls and new pictures, and it's very impressive. They played many card games. The staff is very congenial. They go out of their way to help you if you need it. It's top dollar. You got to have money to come here.

The staff at Atria on Roslyn Harbor is wonderful and very caring. The food is good, and it's beautifully taken care of. It's a lovely place to live. The facility maintenance and housekeeping are very good. Right now, they're undergoing a renovation. They're doing carpeting and lighting and so on and so forth. Soon, it's going to be very, very beautiful. You get housekeeping once a week as part of your rent and they do a very good job. They take care of things very quickly if you have a problem. Every day, there are programs and varying things, some games, some card games, some lectures, and entertainment. It's a potpourri of a lot of things. I think I get my money's worth, but it's a lot of money.

Atria on Roslyn Harbor is a very comfortable living facility, and we're very happy here. The staff has been near perfect. I contact mostly with the food staff and they're very efficient and we get fed pretty quickly. I can't say enough about how we're happy with them. The food is less than perfect, but occasionally we get really good food. The housekeeping people are wonderful, very efficient and spends considerable time in our apartment once a week. We have no complaints whatsoever about their work. The building is under current repainting and it's not wonderful having them here, but it's really, really nice that they're getting it done. There are all kinds of programs. There's Bridge, gambling games, music, and all kinds of things. It's expensive, but I'm happy.

I have family at Atria on Roslyn Harbor. Everybody is very helpful, attentive, and friendly. The location is very clean and the setting is beautiful. Everything is made fresh. They even do their own baked goods, and there's a good variety. It has very wide hallways. The layout is very good and the building is very attractive. They do great trips. They have lots of lectures and activities to do. They try to make everything available for everybody and they try to make adjustments and allowances for everybody. Value for money is comparable to other places in the area. I think you get a lot for what you pay for. It is a luxury place.

Atria on Roslyn Harbor is a very caring environment. My Aunt is thriving there. She has some memory issues and since she has been there I feel like all the interactions, games, activities and healthy meals has almost made her more alert., Her aids are amazing and keep in such close contact with me. I always know what’s going on.

I'm a resident of Atria on Roslyn Harbor. I would recommend it highly because the people here are very, very caring. They make you feel like they're concerned about you and care about you. It feels very comfortable and homey. The cleanliness is terrific. The food is not gourmet, but it's good and plentiful. There's a lot of things going on. We have entertainment. They take them to the local opera place. They bring in a teacher to teach us how to play bridge. We have a lot of musicians coming to play the violin and entertain and sing and stuff like that. The people here are very classy. They're very nice people, friendly, and sociable. I have made many friends. The place is very beautiful. It has a beautiful garden outside. The value is good, but I think it's too much money.

I'm at Atria on Roslyn Harbor. It's in a nice location. It's spacious. Behind this is the harbor. It's very nice. The staff is always there to accommodate everyone if they need it. The rooms are nice. It depends on what you go for. We have a two-bedroom, and it's nicely done. The arrangement and the cutout are very nice and there is just enough space. The food, in the first year, was fine. I know that in the past the menus had a little more variation. They have everything. They have dancing classes. They make beads. They do a lot of things upstairs. They can do art and painting. All throughout the day there are two or three classes. They have different types of exercises. They go out. They have a bus and they accommodate people to go and shopping. There's a lot of amenities. It's really nice. They have concerts, yoga, and a rowing machine. You can play billiards if you want. There's a lot of activities. They did bingo at one point. They did mahjong. They did a lot of games for everybody. There's a reading room. There are books. It's fantastic. The rooms are accommodating to whatever you want. The staff is wonderful. They will accommodate you as much as they can. Sometimes you're put on a hold, but it's understandable. They're good people. They go the extra mile. Maintenance is fine. It's always clean. There's always someone cleaning here. They're always doing repairs, whatever is necessary. The upkeep is fine. It's wonderful.

I'm living in Atria on Roslyn Harbor. I enjoy it. I enjoy the kindness and the friendliness. The living facilities are beautiful, but anything could be beautiful, it's the staff and the people that work here that make it so wonderful. There are beautiful water scenes and trees around. It's very nice. I like the food most of the time. Sometimes I don't because I don't like curry or something else, but there's always something that I do like. We have concerts, movies, and exercise classes. They have physical therapy. I'm very pleased with the cleanliness. I have a lovely woman that comes once a week. She cleans my whole place from top to bottom and changes my sheets. The facilities themselves are wonderful. With my broken hip, I took my walker and went out walking in the sunshine, it was glorious. I've always enjoyed the activities. What I'm getting for my money is worth it.

I'm a resident of Atria on Roslyn Harbor. It has everything I wanted when I moved in. It has a washer and dryer and a kitchen, and the rooms are very nice. I've looked at others, and I like this one better. I like everything about it. The food is great. The people that run it try very hard to please everybody, and they do a great job. I'm very, very pleased with every one of them. It's very beautiful. I have a balcony. I look out over the bay and it's really very nice and it's very clean. If you have any kind of a question, they answer right away. They follow everything up. They're great people. We have a knitting club. We have a book club. We have movies. We have Wheel of Fortune. We have word power. There's an awful lot of things to do. The staff is excellent. The price is a little high.

I'm at Atria on Roslyn Harbor. I'm very comfortable here, and I feel safe here. It's a beautiful place. It's right on the harbor. The staff is very good. I get two meals, but I think the new residents get three. The activities are good. I go to tai-chi, I play Rummikub, card, there's a movie, and they have nice shows, which is my favorite. People come in and entertain. It's very expensive. The people that work here are very caring.

My mom lives at the Atria on Roslyn Harbor. She's very happy there. We're happy with what's going on. She moved there for independent living, but she had a stroke a year ago and now she has her own aide. The staff is warm and welcoming. They go out of their way to help the residents to be cheerful and encouraging and make it a very pleasant atmosphere. It's just a very happy place. My mom felt at home from the first day she moved in. The residents were wonderful. There were people to talk with. They were involved in many activities. It was a place where she could play cards. She could do arts and crafts projects and share stories. The level of intellect was what she needed and what she found. There were plenty of people who were well-educated and well-spoken and interesting. She loves being with people. She was asked to be an ambassador, which she loved speaking to new residents, welcoming them, trying to help them get adjusted if they needed any help. She was on the residents' council. She was very active. It gave her a place to continue being active and involved with other people. She just thrived there. She was always happy and always busy. There are lots of different activities available. They maintain the property. The manager is terrific. They oversee everything, making sure her apartment is well kept, and all the common areas. It's just a very inviting, very upscale place to live. It's certainly well maintained. They are meticulous in that it is clean and inviting. The outdoor areas have flowers, and they're always putting new plants in the front area, and for different holidays during the year. It's very inviting and very well maintained, inside and out. COVID did stop a lot of the activities that my mom was involved and they are stepping up again, but because of the stroke, she cannot participate much any longer. My mom has been very happy, feels very much at home, and appreciates that the staff were always wonderful. Especially since her stroke, they go out of their way to encourage her when she's working with her physical therapist in the hall. They're really caring people. She looked forward to what was coming the next day. It was always something good, in her opinion.

Atria of Roslyn Harbor is a wonderful senior living residence. It’s not easy finding a place for a parent with all the worries and changes that go along with a move. The Atria made that transition easy. When my parents moved there 3 years ago it was the best decision we ever made. There are many activities and community driven events and I hear the food is delicious. Since my father’s passing last year the staff and residents have made my mother feel loved and this has given us such peace of mind. Atria at Roslyn Harbor is her home and she is so happy there.

I visited close to a dozen facilities while searching for the "one" that best suited my uncle due to his specific needs, including other Atria's. This place was special from the moment I walked in. I was welcomed by several staff and guests before I even said anything. As I toured the facility the greetings and smiles continued throughout. Many facilities may be pleasing on the surface, Atria on Roslyn Harbor is imbued with sparkle and elan. My decision was made even easier by several recommendations by industry professionals. The process to register my uncle was smooth and I am now looking forward to him enjoying his stay here.

Atria on Roslyn Harbor was beautiful. It was clean, it was spacious, and they had all kinds of activities. The staff was wonderful, lovely, very accommodating, and very caring. They have a theater, a gym, and a library. It overlooks the harbor, so it's pretty.

This community is 5 stars. The staff is outstanding and can’t do enough for their residents and families. They truly care! My mom was a resident for 5 years and was very involved. She made wonderful friends with both residents and staff. The apartments are lovely and it is like living in a 5 star hotel. The grounds being on Roslyn harbor are truly beautiful and a plus! They have wonderful programs and activities to keep active and busy. I will forever be grateful for my moms years there knowing she was always safe and well cared for!

Apartment was spacious and met all our needs. The staff was very friendly and were quick to help. The one thing that needs improvement is the food. Lunch salads were always good but dinners left a lot to be desired. In most cases I would throw out dinner and only eat the soup.

Atria on Roslyn Harbor excels at caring and compassionate management of residents along with regular written and personalized communication with family contacts of residents. The dedicated staff handled the enormous challenges of the pandemic with the proper balance of safety protocols and ongoing and transparent communication. The result was a very low infection rate. The rooms are modern and well maintained. The activities are plentiful and serve the diverse needs of the resident population up-to-and including lectures, live entertainment, yoga, painting and jewelry making class. The extensive outside patio area overlooks tranquil Roslyn Harbor and has a New England/countrified feel. The landscaping and flowers around the property is simply gorgeous. My mother has been a resident for over four years and the staff has become her extended family. They are easy to talk to - from executive management to front desk and service staff.

I visited Atria on Roslyn Harbor. We were treated OK. I think the facility was OK, but one of the problems was that we signed a temporary agreement, where we can think about it and cancel it in three days. So we cancelled it in three days, and through whatever happened in their billing department, we were billed for three different months, but we never even signed a lease. We never agreed that we were going to be moving there. We cancelled it within the three days. It was like a billing glitch but it was still upsetting to receive a bill for three months in a row. That was one of the problems. However, the facility seemed fairly nice, particularly the courtyard balcony view.

Atria on Roslyn Harbor was exceptionally beautiful and very well run. There were a lot of vibrant people, some of the people are still working in Roslyn Harbor and it’s in a beautiful, absolutely gorgeous location right on the Long Island South. The grounds and the facility itself were just beautiful, and we had lunch there fit for a queen. It was an outstanding place, and you could have your own washer and dryer in your room in a closet. It was very exceptional, but I don’t know if I can afford it. The food was outstanding. I saw the residents, but I didn’t get an opportunity to talk to them since some of them are working and a lot of them are driving; it is totally different in assisted living. They have all kinds of activities; most of the people were pretty involved in different things, so I don’t think they have to be entertained. It is in an upscale community, and it has a quiet little town with very fine restaurants and shops; it’s a perfect place if you can afford it. I did have lunch with the director of marketing, her name is Jackie. I would definitely recommend the facility.

We went to Atria on Roslyn Harbor. We were invited for dinner there and the food was excellent. The dining room was huge. They had a lot of people. They had a lot of activities and we went to one little show that they put on with a singer which I found very sophomoric. The staff was wonderful. The place was lovely although it's just expensive.

I chose Atria because it's close to my home and my children. I have an apartment in a very nice hotel that's on the harbor. It's very pretty with flowers. The people working here are the finest in the community and all well-trained. The only thing it lacks is a swimming pool. It has health activities and shows. Some people like the food while others don't. They need to learn how to cook without salt because the residents say there's too much salt on their food. Other than that, I think that most people here are happy.
Provider Response
We are pleased to hear that you have enjoyed your stay at Atria on Roslyn Harbor. I will be sure to pass along your suggestion of cooking with less salt to the appropriate staff so that they can expand the no-salt and low-salt offerings. Please feel free to contact us at customerservice@atriaseniorliving.com with any concerns you may have and include the Atria community name in your subject line.

I was looking for something more independent and I found the Atria Senior Living. I didn't need assisted living for my parents. The place was very nice, very well kept, and people seemed to be very nice. They had a lot of activities and flexibiity with the dining options. I tried their food and I thought it was very good. The staff was very friendly and caring. I liked best that the apartments were very nice sized, the kitchens were well equipped, and it was a large apartment. Atria is easily accessible for all our family members because we live in different places. So we needed something that was centrally located because we come from the island and Manhattan to see them.
