Cobba hill assisted living was a nightmare for my mom. Got her out in less than 3 weeks. Do not send your loved ones to this facility if you want them to be well taken care of. Everything about this place was bad. Mom got ignored when she needed help and the doctor never even saw her the whole time she was there. I'm so glad I don't have to see my mom suffer there ever again. And I'm glad I never have to see the staff there either. Because they are not warm attentive comforting compassionate. I just truly have nothing good to say about cobbs hill assisted living.

Terrible place to send your loved one. Medical staff is not welcoming or compationate or attentive. Underpaid understaffed, and people who don't look or act like they are happy to work there. My mom.was.negleted by staff. She lost 10 pounds in.less than a month. Doctor wouldn't see her, she had diarrhea for a week. On June 4 2024 I had enough. I took her to emergency and she got a terrible gi infection from there. She.just got out of the hospital today and is living somewhere that people have showed compassion, attention, everyone is in tune with.moms medical needs. Things that cobbs hill don't have, don't do, or just won't do. They have roaches also.

I am the daughter of a resident that has been in this facility for almost 6 years and i can honestly say that since the day she moved into the facility things have definitely became not so great .....the medical attention that my mom needed had been ignored on a couple of occasions they told my mother just recently in the last 2 months she didnt need an ambulance(i heard this myself) after my mom complaining of shoulder pain and shortness of breathe for 2 weeks and me making threats to the facility did they call an ambulance finally. And the outcome to that is that my mom almost lost her life behind the facilities lack of empathy.......my moms heart was failing at only 20 beats . so the pains in her shoulder when she would complain about it was mini heart attacks! For 2 weeks my moms needs were ignored even after my mom asked to be taken in ambulance.....and this isnt the only. Incident......fractured pelvis that was ignored for 3 weeks but thats a whole other paragraph....needles to say i am now working on getting my mom out....it once was a very nice place. . the food is limited there are barely any activities and those only include a wii game coloring sometimes bingo ....bed bugs clothing doesnt get returned most of time....i can go on and on.This is things not only has my mom told me but things i have heard and seen myself with how the staff and facility is ran from 6 years ago til present.....

My mother-in-law has been in Cobb's Hill Manor. The staff there is wonderful and very welcoming. They knew her name on the first day. The place is not aesthetically pleasing inside or outside. Her room is bigger than what it would be at the other place. Their activity room is terrible. The dining area is terrible. The food is cold. She can't even get drinks at any other time of the day. She said the food the first day was a big bun with the dried-out hamburger. The second day was, for breakfast, she had cold cereal, and she was offered home fries by a person walking around and giving the leftovers out, and she said they were terrible. So, the food is definitely a zero. I would give the staff a two only because they forgot the medication on her first day. Overall, the building needs to have new carpeting. It needs a living space for them to have activities in and talk to each other. It's plastic chairs and a big empty room is what it is. It was clean, just not aesthetically pleasing. It's a very old building, but it was clean. The only activity that we found was puzzle building on a table in the room.

The facility appeared clean and quiet on the first floor, where the lobby is located. When I took the elevator up to the second fourth I was shocked. It was about 6:00pm in the evening. The residents were out of control. They were yelling and cursing at the nurses. Some residents were throwing things such as cups of water, blankets and there own teeth. There were also residents who where trying to figure out how to use the elevator, so they can escape to somewhere. As I walked to my mother's room, I noticed that the hallways were different form the first floor lobby. The floors were filthy. I saw fecal matter smeared on the walls. What I think was juice was spilled on the floor. No one was in a hurry to clean it up. I also, smelled cigarette smoke. Somebody was sneaking a drag. I knew this was against the rules. Therefore, I told one of the employees right away. My mother's room was quiet but dirty.
