I toured Atria Plainview. The people were lively, and it was clean. I like the atmosphere and the grounds. It just seemed like a very nice place. They have an arts and crafts room upstairs. Their dining room was very nice. They have an outside patio that faces the full park.

I will be moving into Atria Plainview. One of the things I was looking for was a swimming pool, and they are across the street from the JCC, which has a swimming pool. The residents go over there, and they offer a free membership for the people in Atria. The staff members were all very pleasant. They offer everything that I need and want. They have a library, a salon, and a place where you could eat 24/7. They do housekeeping. They offer three meals a day.

My mom is a resident of Atria Plainview. I highly recommend them; I would live there myself if I could. The location and the people are fabulous. The food is okay. The apartment is wonderful. She is very happy there, they're very sweet to her and very caring. They were exactly what you want them to be. They have bingo and Jeopardy. The Rabbi was there, and they have rosary every morning. They take them in little buses to the stores and drive them to church every Sunday. They have handymen on staff if my mother can't figure out how to use the thermostat, they'll come in and fix it. The nursing people who give out the medication are wonderful. They pop into my mom's room three times a day with pills that she takes legitimately. I don't have to worry about her taking the wrong pills because I know she's being handed by a professional. They shower her three times a week, and she said they're very good about it.

I liked Atria Plainview a lot. I thought that the grounds were nice. The people that I met were very lovely and very informative. It is a lovely place. The staff was very positive and very informative about everything. She does her job well. There are different kinds of accommodations. There was a single bedroom and a double bedroom. They all have a kitchenette. The ones that I saw had a nice view. They have bingo, games, get-togethers, and a place for the family to visit and stay with you.

My aunt was at Atria Plainview before and that place was beautiful. They had all the care they ever needed there. Their rooms were all private and they were nice. There's plenty of activities, like trips, people coming in to sing, word games, movies, arts and crafts, and pretty much everything they had. The staff was very professional. Their food was also very good. They got a menu. It was almost like going to a restaurant where you're able to pick what you wanted.

Atria Plainview is nice. My problem with them is that they don't have memory care and my mother has dementia, she's blind and she's hard of hearing. So although the community was wonderful, she'd never been able to keep up. It's assisted living and the staff was fabulous during my visit. They were wonderful. I would move in there myself. They were professional, very thorough, and explained a whole bunch of things. It was a wonderful place. I wish I could send my mother there, but I could not.

My sister is in Atria Plainview right now. It's getting better. It was a bit of getting used to because she's never been in a senior place, but it's nice. She says the food is good. They have a little bit of activities, but because of Covid they're limited. They're just starting to get back. Somebody comes in and sing. They're going to start playing cards.

My mother liked Atria Plainview a lot; she liked the way it was built and it was very clean. The person who took us on the tour was very informative, very nice and very pleasant. They gave us muffins, and they were very good. We haven't eaten there but we met the chef and she was very pleasant. The facility is very homey and mom felt very good about the place. She likes the idea that they have a salon and they have a backyard where she can sit out since it has benches and nice gardens.

My father moved in to Atria Plainview six weeks ago. I couldn’t be happier with the warm and caring staff. They made him feel welcomed and comfortable right away. They communicated with me whenever I had any questions. I am so thankful to have a found a place where my dad is getting such great care and he seems happier and healthier than he has been in a while!

My dad just moved in to the Atria Plainview on May 2, 2021. He has a small studio apartment but there were other choices. It’s the perfect size for him and they will furnish it if you want. The furnishings are lovely- bed, dresser, night table, sitting chair and 2 lamps. As far as staff interactions we couldn’t be more pleased. Everyone has been attentive and nice. There are many activities through the course of the day. Music, lectures, stretching classes and also a men’s club because there are more men than usual at this assisted living. My dad loves the food! In conclusion, we are very happy with our choice and my dad couldn’t be any happier.

My friend seems to be adapting very well at Atria Plainview. The staff has always been very polite and nice to me. Her room is fine; she got it furnished. She has a TV and a phone in her room. It would be too expensive for me, but it certainly is well run and they have lots of activities for the residents. They transport them, and they take them shopping and on trips. They are top notch, but expensive. She seems very content with the way things are going. You get what you pay for. They have more activities than most places.

My mother was at Atria Plainview. It was good at the beginning, but it has gone downhill and she's not getting the care that she needs. She had a deluxe studio, which was like a small one-bedroom. She did the word game. There's bingo, crafts, knitting, and puzzles. There's a movie every night. She's been there for a little over two years and they've been through three directors already. They're losing their staff. Mom said the food has gone downhill and they really can't care for her. She needs a little bit more help, but she had a lot of friends there. The rent goes up astronomically. The first year, it went up 10% and then it went up 5%; now it has gone up another 5%. It's way too much money for her. They're not very good at cleaning the rooms. They're supposed to be cleaning the apartments with what you pay.

Atria Plainview had activities that I liked like card playing. The food was better, and I can get on a bus three days a week, go into town and do shopping and looking around, so it makes me feel better. They serve 3 meals a day, they have a beauty salon, and they have different activities like Bingo and jewelry making and a lot of different things. We also have board games ad movies; yesterday we had a performance, and Friday they will be having another performance and Grandparents' Day.

I took a tour of this facility. The staff was quite friendly and the facility is immaculate. The activities are endless and I really felt like I was walking through a warm and inviting community. As it turns out, the family member I was touring Atria for has changed his mind about assisted living but I will definitely recommend this place to others.

We visited Atria Plainview for my mother. It was beautiful but way too expensive. It was lovely though, and they had nice grounds. While we were there, there was somebody providing entertainment with singing. It was a lovely, lovely place. My girlfriend's mother actually had been there, and she only had good things to say about it, but it was just too expensive. We met one staff who was lovely. Everything was explained to us, and she didn't rush us or anything. The facility had an upscale feel to it. The whole atmosphere was very nice.

The rooms at Atria Plainview were too small, but the people were friendly. There were a group of people watching a small TV set, and that didn’t leave a good impression on me.

Atria was absolutely lovely, the service was great, and the food was fabulous. The director met with us personally, took us on a tour of the facility, and was very accommodating. We also got to meet my mother’s next door neighbor that happened to moved there. They gave us lunch for free and the dining was fabulous; you had more than one selection, and I couldn’t believe the choices that you had were phenomenal and then having specials on top of that. If I was retired, I would have signed up yesterday.

The Atria was a much smaller facility. There were a lot of women there. We were looking for both of my parents, so we had to find a place where there was a decent amount of men as well. They also did not have two-bedroom apartments which was what my parents wanted. Nevertheless, based on my visual tour, I would give them an average rating.
