Brookdale Niagara Memory Community has been a life savers. Our mom was dads caregiver. When She passed away we realized how bad things has become for dad. We didn’t know what to do. A good friend gave us the Marketing directors name and number. We were given kind and capable advice. We followed Deb’s advice and were able to get dad on the short waitlist. He is now living his best life . He has gained weight enjoying the home cooked meals. The care givers and nurses have been outstanding. Nothing but good things to say. We made the best choice.

Brookdale Niagara was nice. I met with Debbie and she was wonderful and very thorough. She showed me a room, an activity room, and pretty much everything. Their dining room was nice. There's plenty of room and everyone seemed happy while eating there. It's clean. I also saw a salon and a visiting room for families that want to sit and visit with them. So, it was perfect.

Brookdale Niagara was very nice. They had a small, efficiency apartment with a very small kitchenette, a living room that you first walked into, and then a bedroom off to the side. I know. They had three different unit sizes, including patio rooms. They had a salon and a small entertainment room where they do recreational activities. The dining room was very nice and everything was very clean and looked updated. It's probably the best in the area.

The walking space for the amount of residents is very tight. There is not enough room for people to sit in the common area. The dining space is the activity space. The residents have to share a community shower area. The food is ok. The month residential price is too high for the quality of service. They raise the monthly rate every year for no reason other cost of living. The turning around in staff employment is high.

We went to see Brookdale Niagara, and it was a little too pricey. As far as the place, it's a very nice place. Iit was a good tour. We saw assisted living, and everybody was very knowledgeable. They were very helpful, very polite, and gracious with my parents. The dining area was pretty spacious, and it looks like a really great setup for the elderly. The place seemed very clean too. If they could make things more affordable, I would have moved my parents there.
very happy family finally at peace

Homey place. Smaller with lovely Suites. We picked a beautiful patio suite with a large living room, bedroom, kitchen, walk in closet , larger bathroom that was easily accessible for our mom. The kind staff go above and beyond to cater to our mom. The marketing director met us originally at the hospital. She and the entire management team immediately made us feel comfortable. They prove why they are the best every day. We didn't not realize the difference that choosing an Enhanced Assisted Living community makes. We toured several other communities and ultimately chose Brookdale Niagara Campus as mom can live here much longer and hopefully forever. Thank you for getting us to such a great place caring.com.

We had heard great things about Brookdale Niagara Assisted Living before ( it was called Sterling House previously), but we were so happy when we finally came in to visit. You feel at home right away. There were people living here who still drove and volunteered in the community as well as folks needing more care. I learned quickly that this little community is an Assisted Living and an Enhanced Assisted Living. The people who live here can actually age in place. This kind of continuing care made a lot more sense than moving our mom several times. I'm so grateful to the kind staff and managers we met with. Brookdale Niagara is our final choice.

We feel confident we made the right choice. The care is loving. The community is clean, bright, smaller one floor facility. beautiful grounds and vibrant activities going on. We heard from friends who had relatives here. They have long term staff who truly care for the residents. We are pleased.

Both parents lived together in the memory care unit of Brookdale Niagara. I cannot say enough positive things about this facility, I truly believe we lucked out in getting into the best facility for our parents in WNY, The staff is very caring, attentive, nurturing, professional, they seem to really like elderly people and are very patient with dementia patients. I feel truly blessed having my mother there. My father fell and broke his hip and had to be moved to a nursing home, Brookdale worked with us in keeping him with with mom as long as they could. His current care is nowhere near as good as my mom's, very sad to see. I would recommend this facility to anyone. On a practical side, the food is amazing, the activities are great, they communicate with family whenever needed.

There is no comparison between Enhanced facilities. Brookdale NIagara is something so special. We have had fou relatives here in the past 10 years. Remarkably, the same Marketing Director has been there each time. We receive personal, gracious service and feel relaxed knowing that every little detail will be handled...each of our loved ones have been treated respectfully, with kindness, compassion and like a loved family member.

Her experience at Brookdale Nigara changed her into probably the person she was 20 years ago. Happy, outgoing, active, social with a great sense of humor -- we haven’t seen that for about 15 years. She goes to bingo, exercises class, to functions; they had a senior prom where all her adult children got dressed up, and she was dressed up too. Fantastic. She told one of her children that she couldn’t sleep the night before because she was so excited for the prom. She was incredible. She is not like the person she was before. She is alert, oriented, doesn’t wrap a conversation, never confused. The staff assists her into the shower, and then she got better and more steady on the feet with increased services.

We had a tour at the facility. She took all my information and the staff that accommodated us never called me back. That was absolutely horrible and I thought that was very poor. The rooms are very nice, but I didn’t like the dining area. As soon as you walked in, the dining area was right there.

My mother-in-law is here. It is a very small facility. There are forty six rooms ranging from studio to two-bedroom and two-bathroom. About 40% of the residents there are vision impaired like my mother-in-law is. It is an enhanced living and the rates go by the room and how many aids you need. Their attentiveness is great. There are few rooms available because most of the residents there are long term. So, we are very lucky that we got her in.

It is a beautiful facility. We toured and looked around. The people were great and there were lots of activities. It was neat, beautiful, and clean. Everybody I talked to, the workers as well as the residents had a positive attitude. Everything was impeccable. I would like to stay there. However, it's $5,000 month, plus another $1,000 for medical. I can't afford to have my mother in there.
