My dad moved into Parkrose Estates. They are excellent. On a scale of one to ten, I'd say they're a ten. They are fantastic; there wasn't anything that I didn't like. I like the professionalism of the staff, the courteousness, and their willingness to help. They went above and beyond to help us whenever we needed assistance. It has a complete overall feel of professionalism and courteousness. My father says the food is very good. The facility is beautiful, and they do a great job of maintaining it. My dad has not been involved in any activities because he just moved in, but there are a lot of activities that I see he could be involved in. It's a great community experience for him. That's one of the things we were looking at -- for him to get involved with a community.

I toured Parkrose Estates. It was clean and very nice. The rooms were a little more expensive than I thought they would be, but they definitely had a lot of activities. The food looked good. For the most part, it was everything I expected it to be. Everything looked well. The salesperson that I dealt with was friendly and answered all my questions. The rooms were kept impeccably. It was extremely clean. Everything seemed to be updated and modern. The living facility itself appeared to only be 5 to 10 years old.

I toured Parkrose Estates for myself. The staff who gave me the tour was lovely and informative. The only downside was they were doing all the renovation because they had a water leak last Spring, so there's a lot of it I couldn't tour. But I did get an overview with my short tour. The apartments were small but nice. They only had studios and 1-bedroom apartments available. The place was very welcoming. They didn't have many residents because they were all living in other facilities until the place was remodeled. Everything seemed to be informal. Generally, it seemed to be nice. Everything seemed kind of at a standstill because of the renovation, so I did not see any activities going on.

I visited Parkrose Estates, but it's under construction inside. They've had a water break or something, so the downstair is under construction. The people that I spoke with were wonderful people. It was very well-situated and I liked where it was. They had a studio apartment, which was as cute as could be, and a one-bedroom that was very nice. There was a full kitchen, refrigerator, gas, and electric stove, it's just that I need a two-bedroom. The dining rooms and the library, I couldn't see any of them because of all the construction. The outdoor space looked very pretty, and they had walking paths. They have like a walking club for people to get together and go out walking, which is very nice. It's very welcoming. I didn't eat, but their menu looked good.

We went to Parkrose Estates, but we did not choose it because it was more independent living. That was very nice though, and I had interaction with Amanda. She was great, and she kept calling back to check and see how we're coming in the search. I like the facility a lot, it was clean, homey, modern, and well lit. I was impressed. They bring in pets once in a while for the residents to interact.

Parkrose Estates was very nice. The apartments were small, but they didn't have balconies. The staff was very nice and accommodating. The dining area was very nice, and they sit you with people you don't know. I had sandwich for lunch, and it was alright. They said they check on the residents three times a day, make sure they see them at lunch, and if they don't, they'd check on them. They'd give you a button also. They'd take care of anything you would need.

Mom was feeling lonely and isolated, and chose to move from her home of 60 years to Parkrose Estates. From our initial visit with Ruth, mom was made to feel at ease, safe and very welcome. Parkrose is a beautiful residence, with warm, caring staff. It is immaculately maintained. They provide a variety of delicious choices at every meal. There are plenty of activities available on a daily basis, with a variety of excursions for those that are interested. Through these activities mom has met new friends. Our family has peace of mind knowing that mom is safe and happy. Thank you Parkrose Estates.

My parents are 93 and 95 years young! Still not ready for a true assisted living, we decided to search out a senior residence that could help with dining, laundry and light housekeeping. After visiting several options throughout Syracuse, NY, we were fortunate enough to find Parkrose Estates. The minute we entered the building we were greeted by the most wonderful, friendly staff. The culture there is one of caring and love. We couldn't be happier. My parents have only been there a few months and they are already involved in activities, they've made new friends and are thriving. It's changed their lives and ours as we know they are in good hands. We would highly recommend Parkrose Estates.

My mother absolutely loves Parkrose. We had a very hard time getting her to leave on the day that we were going to move her in because she was scared and didn’t want to go. Ruth held the room for the whole month for my mother, and then I decorated it as much as I could. Now, my mom is so happy there and is calling it home. It is a very upbeat place. When I went into Parkrose, I felt the happiness, and every resident I saw was saying they really like it. It is a fabulous place, and I am very happy. She has a studio apartment, which is all she needs, and is happy with it. I know that she absolutely loves the food.

When my father passed away my mother stayed in her large home by herself. She was still driving but was not entirely comfortable traveling alone. My sisters and I visited frequently and took her out often and she went to the senior center once each week. Most of the time she was at home alone and was becoming increasingly depressed, however she refused to leave the home where she raised our family. While doing laundry one day she fell and broke her hip and subsequently went to a rehabilitation facility to recover. While in the rehab. my sisters and I were able to convince her to consider moving from her home into a senior facility and we started our search in the area. There were many beautiful facilities but they seemed to lack something....then we went to Parkrose. From the minute we walked in the door it felt different. We were amazed and thrilled with the warm welcome we received. The receptionist seemed to be genuinely happy that we came for a tour. From the receptionist, Phyllis, to Ruth to Karen and all of the other employees we encountered we had the same feeling that they were happy to have us there. Several residents stopped us to ask if we had someone one moving in and proceeded to tell us what a great place it is. When we were able to return with mom to have her tour she had the same warm feeling as we did. Although she was reluctant she did move into Parkrose. Since the move she has returned to her old self! She is involved in activities, loves her apartment, volunteers in the store, goes on trips and is enjoying her life. She never expected to be happy to move to a senior community but knew it would be easier for my sisters and myself. She will be the first to say now that it was the best decision she ever made and is really enjoying her life. Thank you to the Parkrose staff and residents for making my mom's life much fuller and richer and making her feel like part of the family!

I met with the nice people at Parkrose Senior Living. It's a beautiful and clean facility. However, my relative may need a little bit more assistance if we went there since it is more independent living.

I liked everything about Parkrose, and I think my mother liked everything about it except that she thought the room was small. It was beautiful, very homey, and very friendly. Even the other clients were friendly, staff was friendly, and it was very nice. They have a movie night, karaoke or sing-along, and they go shopping or to just different outings and stuff. You can go on trips, if you want, at the Turning Stone and different events. The residents seem very happy. Before we even went in, there were two ladies sitting outside and, as I was parking the car, my mom talked to them. One of them has been there for a year and the other one for five years, and she has nothing to say but good about them.

My Mom has lived there for a year now and is very pleased with everything. It feels so homey and welcoming. The activities are well planned and the shuttle to and from church, etc is wonderful.

We liked Parkrose Estates. The rooms were very nice. My mother got a large studio, and she was very comfortable in it. The food was good, the activities were good, and the staff was very friendly. She has been there for 2½ years. They had music, exercise, card games, and musical groups coming in to entertain them, and they had nice trips. I would recommend them.

My Mom has been a resident of Parkrose for a couple years now and absolutely loves living there. The facility is spotless and maintained better than a personal residence. Parkrose is without a doubt the nicest Senior Living residence in the area. We looked at many when searching for my Mom. Their greatest asset is the staff. Everyone who works at Parkrose could not be nicer or more loving toward all the residents. They know everyone by name, including family members, and treat them like family. This was evident on my first visit and is still evident two years later. I would never consider having my Mom live anywhere else. She thanks me all the time for finding her such a wonderful place to live. Do yourself a favor and look into Parkrose as one of your options. You won't be disappointed and won't look any further.

I am now living in Parkrose in Liverpool, and I'm very satisfied with it. I just moved in a couple of weeks ago. They do have something going on every day. They have a lot of activities. They have something similar to television shows like Jeopardy. Different things based on television questions and answers and all that stuff. I am very satisfied with it, and it is a very convenient for my family which is another important thing. I'm not considering moving at all. The maintenance and upkeep of the place is very good. It is excellent. They have people come into the apartment to clean up occasionally. I have a large studio which is larger than a one-bedroom apartment. I am very satisfied with it. There are three meals a day. They are very good, and I'm very pleased with it. If you don't like what is on the regular menu, there are other things that they can do for you. There are sandwiches and things like that. They are very good about that.

My mom moved from a Senior Apt to Parkrose, she couldn't be happier. We had concerns about her living alone and she really wanted to stay in her apartment. We thought it would be hard for her to adjust, but she surprised us all. The staff is amazingly attentive and compansionate.

it has been almost two years since Mom has moved into Parkrose Estates. The decision to live in such a caring community makes her smile everyday. When Dad died she had to learn how to focus on herself. Parkrose caters to the individual. They offer exercise , crafts, music and especially brain activities. The staff really cares. From the director down to the servers in the dining room they are a team of caring professionals. We were so fortunate to find this wonderful place for my 89 year old mother to thrive

She liked Parkrose Estates as well. I thought it was a very nice place. The unique quality was the concern for the overall well-being of the residents -- that they feel happy and cared for and that they lead fulfilling lives. The staff was very knowledgeable and very competent.

My mom recently moved to Parkrose from Florida. She couldn't be happier. I left the decision up to her after looking around last summer. I truly feel she chose the best. The staff and residents are not only extremely friendly but very helpful. She was nervous moving in but that changed the first day when a couple of ladies knocked on her door and introduced themselves. She is happy and that is what is important to me.

The staff at the facility is very friendly and accomodating. If my parents have an issues they call me immediately. The meals are balanced and well prepared. The residents are served 3 meals a day, in an elegant dining room with waiter/waiteress service. There are activities throughout the day with to keep residents active. These activities are varied in nature and in physical activitiy. There is Wii bowling, chair exercise class, bingo, dominos, card games, church services, weekly happy hours with entertainment, weekly shopping trips and occasional day trips, just to name a few. Parkrose also has weekly housekeeping, free laundry and med. reminders. The facility itself is clean, bright, inviting and warm. My parents have resided there for 2 years and I have not found any negative aspects of this facility. My parents, both in their 90s, are extermely happy with Parkrose, although they do not participate in very many activities due to their advanced age.I would and have recommended Parkrose to friends and family looking for assisted living/retirement communities for their loved one.
