I decided to write a long overdue review. This has been such a difficult year but we have been so impressed with their handling of the current situation with Covid so I will try to provide details about that. We have been kept up to date with visiting polices, safety policies and they’ve had no covid cases. They keep the residents busy with safe activities and special meals. They also keep residents and families connected with visitation and video calls. Our family member has a private room with a large window and private bathroom.

We will be moving mom to Amber Court of Lake Shore and the reason is because of the price. It's cheaper and affordable. The people there seem nice. The tour was cool, and it's nice that there's a lake right across the street. It seems like a friendly environment. The residents are also pretty nice because they were talking to us as we were walking. The shared room is $2500 and the private room is $3000 and that's within my mom's budget. Also, the care and stuff like that are all added into her budget and it's affordable for her. They have round-the-a-clock care. They got a bingo room, a room with a pool table lounge, and then they got another TV lounge area. The dining room is pretty big for the most part. The rooms are sized nicely, even if she were to share a room (which I would prefer for Mom so that way at least she has somebody to talk to and make a new friend). They're under construction right now. They have gates in places so the residents can't go to those areas, but they have a hair salon there. Probably once the place is done, it is going to look immaculate. From the remodeling that I saw, it looks very, very nice.

There's nothing wrong with my tour of Lake Shore Assisted Living. But my mother has dementia and we're concerned about her walking away since they don't have locks on the doors at night. I liked the place. They have a lot of things for them to do there, it's very clean, and I have nothing bad to say about the community at all. They're the most reasonably priced that there is. It's just that my mother also has diabetes and they don't have nursing care there. They're going through a new owner, so they're updating. It's an older facility so it's not as modern, but it's still very nice. They have plenty of activities for them to do there. They take them out to stores, they take them out to shows, and they have a beautiful movie theater there. The staff members were all very nice there.

My mom will be moving into Lake Shore Assisted Living. What I like most is it has a beautiful view of the lake, and the staff was extremely friendly. My mom will be going into a double room. I did not see the room that she's going into yet, but I saw the model room. It seemed very nice, with a nice size and space in the room. They have a dining room where they are served their meals. It is very homey, not institutionalized. I found the place to be extremely clean. I am very comfortable having her move in there.

My sister is here. Her room is very nice, spacious, and clean. She's happy with it. The staff is excellent, and I haven't had any complaints at all. I had a good meal there. They have bingo, a bowling alley, and go out in a bus for shopping, and she's happy about that. They're very caring, and it has a pleasant atmosphere.

It was very nice. The staff was very helpful and very informative. They have clubs, and they take their residents to shows. Dining area was large and very clean. They gave my aunt lunch, and she enjoyed it.

My mother is going to be moving in on March 1. It’s a very nice place and convenient to my sister. The setup is very nice. She’s going to have a window room on a corner. Right at the front door, there’s a nice sitting area that overlooks the lake. There are a lot of activities there in a game room; plus, they even have a little bar there. The people are very happy and don’t stay locked in their rooms. The staff seemed very nice, patient, and helpful.
