My father moved into The Crossings at Brookdale in Ithaca about 6 months ago. We have been so impressed with the staff--they could not be kinder or more professional. Each of them has developed a very personal and caring relationship with my dad. He feels appreciated and loved. The facility is very nice, particularly the dining area and Great Room. Dad loves the fireplace. The staff works to tailor activities to the interests of each resident and coordinates outings as well. We are so glad that we found Brookdale for him.

My mother has moved into Brookdale Ithaca. The reason I chose them was their location. It is a very good fit. They have bingo, there are other group activities as well as the availability to go out shopping. The staff members are very friendly and very helpful. The place is very clean.

The atmosphere at Brookdale Ithaca is very nice. They allow people to keep their pets, which is very nice. The downside is that they're expensive. The dining room is very nice. The rooms had nice lighting and were clean. There was a room where there were a few people playing a game. The staff was very nice, personable, courteous, and extremely helpful. Everybody seemed pretty happy there. It's kind of like a hotel almost. They have suites, efficiency apartments, and studio apartments. The people I met in the hallways were nice.

We toured Brookdale Ithaca for my dad last month. It's a beautiful facility. We were excited for the possibility to be able to go there; but in the end, we just couldn't do it. It was an excellent tour. The staff was very friendly and very helpful. It was very clean and very well thought out, as far as the rooms and the facility. It was very inviting and very homey. The rooms were very nice. The one thing that was really nice about the rooms is they all have their own door to the grass and sidewalks area that was enclosed. The building kind of goes around that area. It was remote, which we liked. It wasn't in a busy city with traffic and so forth. They had a beautiful view of the lake, and it was quiet. The menu looked nice. It looked healthy with lots of options/varieties, but we did not get to try it to see how well it was cooked or flavored. It's the financial thing for us. He could afford to live there as long as he didn't need any assistance with anything. Each thing that he needed assistance with was an extra cost and was a very, very expensive extra cost.

I've toured Brookdale Ithaca, and it is a nice clean facility. Due to Covid, I didn't get to tour very much, just the grounds, but it was a pleasant experience. The person who took me on the tour was very knowledgeable and empathetic. The place was extremely well-maintained and landscaped. They have a courtyard, a salon, and there were some other rooms, but we weren't able to tour them because of Covid. The room that we saw was small. The place is pet-friendly, and it is near a hospital, but that has no bearing on my decisions.

Brookdale Ithaca was a lovely place. The person who accommodated me was very helpful. The room I saw was small, but it's good. The dining area looked nice, very clean, and had a lot of different tables. The residents were painting, one of them was cooking, and there were several watching a movie.

We're very happy with Brookdale Ithaca. It's very bright and clean-looking. The hallways were nice, wide, and there were a lot of windows. It's a very appealing place. The staff members all seemed very nice. My mother-in-law is happy with the food and she likes the dining area. We saw them painting and my mother-in-law seemed to be interested in that.

The person who accommodated me during my tour at Sterling House of Ithaca was very nice and polite. The facility is very nice, and it also seemed to have very nice people. I have no problems with it, except that I'm just not quite ready to do this yet, but this facility would be a satisfactory place for me to go if I were ready. As far as I could tell the facility is kept clean and kept up well.

We went to the Sterling House and it was very nice and clean. It would be a great place for somebody to live. The staff that gave us the tour was very good. They had a nice dining room and they also had a private dining room for families. The rooms were very nice and they had a lot of activities. They had music concerts, walking group and a garden group. However, it was pretty pricey.

I love it there because my grandma absolutely loves it. She's having the time of her life and she's in her 90s! The employees say she's "popular" there and is always with friends, which is probably why she never answers her phone when we try to call. We have heard nothing but positive feedback from her.

The main attraction to this facility is the low cost and scenic view. It overlooks a grand river that provides residents with a feeling of comfort and power, two necessities for the elderly. The lowish cost for the place was good too. However, this is because they provide very little personal service to you, and if you wish to get more individualized care you must hire a 3rd party service. On top of that, the food is quite bland too. It is very institutionalized in this manner. The food is the same mush week to week, something quite discouraging for the residents. The rooms are very small with one bedroom, a small living area barely big enough for a loveseat, and a kitchen that includes a small refrigerator and a sink. However, the bathroom is an adequate size for the residents. The facility overall has very little activities to participate in, which heavily factors in to the overall quality. Although this facility isn't horrible, it is definitely not the best option.
