I begged for 3 weeks to have a doctor call me, nothing. I begged for them to give my father something stronger than Tylenol, nothing. A PA went into my mentally challenged, IQ of 57 fathers room and said repeatedly he was going to die from cancer(he didn't have cancer) when a doctor finally called me Dr. Dimaria told me my father was just severely dehydrated, give him a week and he would get him well enough to go back home. 5 hours later my father was dead

My mother-in-law was admitted to this horrifying place to receive physical therapy after a fall. The goal was to strengthen her legs so she'd be less likely to fall again. She'd been in the facility for more than 2 weeks and never received ANY physical therapy to help her walk. She was handed some small hand weights to work her hands which were working fine and not causing her any problems. She told her children she was not fed 3 meals a day, it took hours to get a glass of water, and the staff never returned phone calls to her health care proxy. After her 3 children attempted calling her for 24 hours straight one was informed this morning by a cleaning staff member that she had been rushed to the hospital with dangerously low oxygen readings. No one from the facility contacted her family to tell them. Her COPD and sleep apnea were neglected. She could have died. This facility should be shut down permanently as it is a cruel and dangerous demonstration of neglect and abuse.

Smells HORRIBLE when you walk in, they don't properly take care of patients. Management is clearly at fault. Place should be shut down.

Most disrespectful around. The promise everything and does the very minimum. My sister lays in pain & her waste for HOURS at a time. Press the call button and wait forever. Doctors and medicine, ha. The have wrong data throughout her files. But they do smile to your face.

My father is has been a resident here since August 2017. This facility is pathetic. Regardless of how some of the dept. heads try they just can't get it together. Every single issue you bring to there attention they make an excuse. They obviously do just enough to pass the MINIMUM standards set by the Dept. of Health. Emphasis on MIMIMUM!!! Additional since everything in these days is about documentation they are good at documenting what they do (and don't really do) so they can bill for and receive the maximum payment allowed through insurance and cya so when DOH looks at there records it appears they are meeting those absolute MINIMUM standards. My recommendation is DO NOT ever consider this facility for anyone unless they have no place else to go until they die.

My father was a resident/patient for awhile and was not taken care properly. He decline fast not cleaned, allowed other patient to attack him, meds wrong, not coming to help him and no food that was good (rotten, frozen on paper plates). Allowed him to fall, no therapy and just took in the money. My mom every day when up to see him and took care of him. One nurse out of the whole place was good Denise. My dad die of completions of gain green not even on death certificate. New york city people own this place and have no right to be open and treat people this way. Close this place before more loved ones die for no reason.

If you have to place a loved one in a facility this is the one you DO NOT want. Never enough nurse's or aids on duty. Wait forever for help. Food awful. Always losing clothes . Complaints do not get resolved. Medical care not good. Only good thing is activities and the great people who work in there. Save yourself a lot of regret . GO somewhere else.

My husband is there. This place is horrible. My husband felt Brock some bone, bed sore, loss weights 16 lb.because they don't feed them patients the food is horrible. And they drug the patients that way they can keep low staff the administration is untrustworthy they want take patients and family rights off. Don't lets unscrupulous business organizations lucrative themselves just taken advantage of ours elderly. Ifyou love your elder don't put them there, please!!!!!!

Fulton Center is all about outward appearances and entertainment. If you look on their FaceBook page you will see lots of fun events listed. What you don't see is healthcare. They have spend thousands of dollars on new furniture and furnishings while at the same time terminating good health care professionals. If you want your loved one to have good medical attention this is not the facility for you. They are looking for residents with private pay insurance, they are treated much better than the others on Medicaid.

A friend of mine told me about Fulton Center. The staff is very nice and very helpful. They are remodeling the whole place. Everything is going to be brand new. They are working on it. It's still a work in progress, but what they have completed is very nice. I don't know about the activities. We've only been there for like two months, and my aunt isn't into activities very much. She is diagnosed as schizophrenic, so she is not very social. The security is very good though. They have an alarm on the wheelchair and her bed if she falls out. The doors are all locked, and you have to buzz to get in.

The staff was pretty good at Fulton Center, but I wasn’t too impressed with the management. The rooms have two people, and they have very few single rooms. All of the rooms are clean. Their food is terrible. If your order is incorrect, you have to re-order and that would take 45 minutes to an hour which isn’t a good thing. They do have activities like bingo. The place is too secured, and it felt more like a prison.
