What a beautiful facility. I love my cottage and all the amenities that come with it. There is a lot of storage and the cathedral ceilings make it feel so spacious. The fitness center is great and the pool is too. I love all of the activities that go on regularly. I think my favorite is wii bowling. I enjoy the trips to see area plays as well. The food is very good and I enjoy the wine and meal pairings. The village is kept immaculate inside and out and it is located close to town, banks, shopping and more.

We are going to choose Good Shepherd Village at Endwell because we like the cleanliness of the facility and the size of the room. The staff was very accommodating, they did whatever they could to help us get there to do a tour, and the availability. The staff who gave the tour was most helpful. They have an outdoor area, and meals are included, like two meals a day.

Good Shepherd Village was a good fit for me and my husband. The staff was very pleasant and just was a good fit for us. The room was very pleasant. Stores are close by, and they take you to the doctors. They do the basics, usually what other places do. It's more out of the city. It's out in the country, but it's close to Wegmans grocery store, which they take you to, but you make an appointment. I saw all three levels. There's a nursing home. First, we're going into independent, and then if we need other levels, we can go forward. The facade of the facility was very good, and it was clean.

Good Shepherd Village is a brand-new facility. The reason my father didn't want to go there because he felt the rooms were too far from the dining room. It's a much more spacious facility than where he is now. The staff who showed us around were typical salesman. The dining room is much nicer, more spacious, and with more window space than the dining room at my dad's place. They have a swimming pool and a bar where you can sit by while they mix drinks. They also have a library and exercise room. The place is very spacious and clean. If it's 10 years old, I'd be surprised.

I visited a friend at Good Shepherd Village. It seems to be a fairly well-run place. It's OK if you're older. There are some nice cottages if you're wealthy. My friend's room is really nice and has her own laundry and kitchen. She doesn't like the food. A lot of people don't really like the food. Sometimes it's good, but she just doesn't seem to like it that much. The facility grounds are nice, lovely, and beautiful. The rooms are lovely. It's for people that have $5,000 to spend at least. They seem to be in it for the money. They make you pay for your apartment for $120,000, then they charge you $3,000 each month. That includes cleaning, but they won't dust or run a vacuum cleaner unless you pick up your clutter. It's really a pain. You have to hire the help that they give you, which they hire at $15 and the person maybe makes $7.50 an hour. The person they recommended to move her in robbed her of several hundred dollars but she was afraid to report it. They shouldn't be in it for the money.

Great facility! Most employees were very amiable; a few seemed rushed but certainly weren't rude. Rooms are a bit small but look recently renovated, have great amenities. Programs offered seem great! Looking forward to moving here! I wasn't particularly impressed by the landscaping, but no complaints there; they were doing plenty of outdoor work while I was there, so I'm sure it has improved. After talking to many residents, I'm really looking forward to moving in next year!
