My in-laws moved to All American Assisted Living at Coram. The facility is less than one year old, it's a beautiful facility. Everything in the room is very clean and very new, the staff is excellent, very attentive, very conscientious. The food in the dining room is excellent. I really have no complaints so far, they're taking very good care of my in-laws. They have a bistro with activities for seniors, they have a calendar that they put up for different activities that they do. They have ice cream socials on Sundays, movies, games, library, they have music sometimes, and they have a rehab center. According to my father-in-law, the food is excellent. They have a hair salon there too, they have pretty much everything that they need.

Everything was good about All American Assisted Living at Coram. There were a lot of activities and the staff was nice, friendly, and helpful. They answered questions. They had the courtyard, the rec room, the little gym, arts and crafts, and all these different activities. They also take them out on daily activities in a van. It's in an area that has a lot of shopping. The only thing negative about it was that you would end up sharing a room with someone.

All American Assisted Living at Coram is the only one we visited. It was a very nice and very clean facility. The staff has been very friendly and very helpful in answering questions. It looks like a nice place for my dad to go. It seems like they have a variety of things for them to do.

We are planning to move my mother to All American Assisted Living at Coram. We're choosing them because of their affordability and the level of care that they offer. I was very impressed, I thought that they were caring, the place was clean, and the residents looked very happy. I didn't see anybody looking like they were angry or sad, everybody looked very well cared for. The staff and employees were very friendly, they went over and above anything that they could do for us. I felt very comfortable there and I got a very good feeling from the place.

All American Assisted Living at Coram was beautiful. They were friendly and welcoming. It was clean. Everybody was cordial. It was nice. The setup and the arrangement were nice. The size of the apartment is fair for what they do. For the most part, their apartments are the biggest to date; they're nice. They have a refrigerator only, and I understand because they provide the meals. The have chickens, and they are animal friendly. I think they have a chicken coop, and the chickens run around in the back. I though that was nice. They have a beauty salon, but it's not staffed currently.

My mother has moved into All American Assisted Living at Coram. The staff is very attentive. They try to get to know what my mom's likes and dislikes are so that they can help her be more comfortable. They have a lovely variety of options for each meal. Everyone of them has been excellent. It's always giving her a choice of something that she would really make herself at home if she were at home. It's a brand-new program. It's kept up very nicely. The housekeeper is there every day; I've seen her in the room every single day. The building itself is beautiful. The grounds are lovely. She's in the memory care unit. Each day there are two morning and afternoon activities. Other parts of the program have evening activities, but it's not right for the memory care. After sundown they start to not be able to kind of focus as much as an elderly person who's just there for caring, but not in the memory unit. The second reason I chose it was because of the value. It was a good value. It was a competitive price. My first reason was it was close to home so that I could see her frequently. The staff has been excellent. I've seen the food and I've smelled it, but I haven't eaten it. It looked wonderful.

All American Assisted Living at Coram seemed somewhat smaller than the other places. The location was kind of right on the main road, but it was also very nice. The location of the room they were offering was convenient to the main common area where people go. The person who gave the tour was very friendly and accommodating. We did not try the food, but they did not seem to have as extensive of a menu as the other places. The person didn't seem to understand the importance of giving somebody a weekly menu that has different options, because he just threw a daily menu at us. It wasn't as nice or extravagant as the other places that we saw. But that doesn't mean anything because the woman called me back and said, "I thought about what you said, and now we have a menu that we can give people." Because I said, "You know, older people, that's what they look forward to." So to not put any emphasis on that, was a little disappointing. Just like other places, they also have a library and a nurse on staff, just not as extravagant as the other ones. What was good about it is they had rehab on site, so they had a gym. If you went to the hospital and you needed to do rehab, they could do it there, and that was a plus.
