My mom moved to The Arbors at Bohemia. The staff is pretty accommodating and the nurses. The facilities are clean. The price was reasonable. The layout is pretty good. My mom said the food is good there. There's always something to do there. They take them out if they want to go to the store and stuff like that. They have a beauty parlor there and they do their nails. For the value of money, everything is inclusive.

We went to look at the Arbors at Bohemia. The disadvantage was that it seemed like the hallways were very long walks to get from the hallway to the main dining room, and my mom had a walker. It would be a lot of walking. I felt the rooms were kind of small for the price. The dining area looks nice. The recreation room looks nice. The staff members were very nice. They were patient and answered our questions. They took us on a tour. They took a lot of time with my mom. There's nothing wrong with them. It's just that the prices for the extra care she would need are a lot.

Staff are constantly leaving and find it frustrating that when you inform them about certain care needs that they do not inform the new staff. The communication is very poor. There is a receptionist that is always there but cannot answer your questions and have to transfer you to the right person and that person is never available. They all seem nice but that's about it. There is very little help and often find my aunt alone and bored. You have to ask for help instead of them being proactive. If I would have known all this before I would not have chosen this place. We are schedule to leave their very soon.

Everybody at The Arbors at Bohemia is friendly. They are taking good care of my aunt. She enjoys the food. You get responses from the team when you reach out and call right away or email you. So, everybody is readily available to get information about your loved one. They have activities. My aunt can get her hair done and her nails done. They have bingo and little games and stuff. They come around and they ask her if she wants to be involved. Unfortunately, my aunt doesn't get too involved, but they try. Her apartment is a perfect size for her and they're very good at cleaning it. The cleaning staff is very nice. They come in and clean the room every day and make her bed. They do her laundry and it's been working out perfectly. I think the staff is great. I just think my aunt needs a little more help. This facility is not one of those that progress with you. So she probably needs something more. They need to improve on giving a little more one-to-one care for the ones that need it a little more.

The Arbors at Bohemia was wonderful. The person that gave us the tour was excellent. It was a little expensive, but it was excellent. I can't say enough about the place and the people. The only negative thing I see about the room is it's only got one closet and that kind of made me a little leery. The closet was not that big and for my sister, leaving a small two-bedroom house to one closet would be rough. Other than that, the room was nice. The bathroom was nice. Everything was great. They had a group of people there doing activities. We got a tour of the whole place. I kept kidding my wife that I was going to go there. The atmosphere was very nice. I was very impressed. We dealt with two different people and they were very accommodating and very nice. It was an excellent tour. The facility was very nice. They told us they're getting to redo the dining room. They were painting when we were there. They were updating. You could see they take very good care of the place.

The Arbors at Bohemia was a very nice community. I thought the rooms were bright and everything was clean. The residents all seemed to be pleasant. They seemed to be happy and enjoying the place. I liked that even though it was a rather large facility, it was all on one level. They also allowed pets, if they wanted to have a pet. The staff who took me around was very nice, very caring, very attentive, and listened to my concerns. There was a courtyard with a water pond, and they could have barbecues there in the summer.

My husband is scheduled to move to The Arbors at Bohemia. The place is very nice and I'm very impressed, it's very clean and everybody's very friendly. I was greeted with a sign welcoming me there when I went for my tour. The staff had snacks and stuff for me when I got there, and drinks like water and soda, so it was very nice. They have movies twice a day, they have a social hour, and they have shuffleboard, games, and recreational things. Everybody I met there was nice, though I didn't care for one person who seemed grumpy, but that's ok because everybody else was very friendly and helpful.

We liked The Arbors at Bohemia. However, they don't have the extended care that we were looking for. Also, they don't have a mini kitchen. They just have a little refrigerator. It's a very happy place though and the residents seemed very content. They seemed to have enough different places for people to go to and relax or do crafts. It's a little older, but they've kept it up very nicely.

I went to The Arbors at Bohemia. What I liked best was the cost, and it was a big thing. The only thing I wasn't crazy about was the staff said they preferred people to be able to move independently, which I can do. I'm sure I'm not going to be able to in the future down the road. It kind of left me up in the air. The food was OK, but it wasn't wonderful. Not that I expect it to be wonderful, but it was a frittata. To me, it could have had more flavor. I've had them many times and usually they have a lot of flavors. This one was kind of bland. They had a lot of activities, and they had a lot of people who are social. One of the things that bothered me was that I saw people sitting in common rooms who were looking blank and who looked mad. I wondered because I didn't see any aides around, and yet they said that you would have aides if you need them. The person who took me around was very friendly and very knowledgeable. I love the room because it had a balcony with a screened door opening, which was very convenient to me because I have a ride-on chair. The other activities seemed to be fairly well rounded. I don't know how many people were attending them because we didn't go to too many things that were going on. I'm sure some were well attended and some were not so well attended, but there seemed to be a fair variety of activities for everybody.

Arbors of Bohemia is a very intimately run facility. Staff and residents are very friendly. There are endless activities for the residents at the facility, plus planned activities off grounds. The place is kept extremely clean, as well as the residents private rooms are kept clean by housekeeping. The private rooms are the perfect size for those who room alone. A varied selection of food for every meal. I couldn’t be happier placing my mom there.

The Arbors at Bohemia was a nice location. There wasn't heavy traffic on the roads right around it. It was all on one floor and it seemed to be a nice setup. John was very nice. I believe he said that he had been there for about 15 years. Even if I didn't choose his facility, he was still willing to sit down with me and go through things that I should know about this process. The place was also kept up very well, including the grounds. Then they have somebody that comes in a couple of days a week for beauty care and there's quite an extensive list of activities for the residents.

We found The Arbors at Bohemia clean. The person that took us around was wonderful; she knew her stuff. The rooms were beautiful; they were affordable. I really thought that would be a wonderful place to put my mother-in-law. The unfortunate part about the rooms is that most of the rooms that were in her price range you had to share. They were large, but to share a room at that age when you're used to living alone was another problem. It was a lot of sharing. What I liked the most about the Arbors was that everything was included. It was like a cruise ship, like breakfast, lunch, dinner, snacks, and happy hour. Everything was included. The facilities were really well kept, they were not overcrowded, and they were clean. There was nothing that I saw that was broken down or needed any fixing. They didn't just take us to specific rooms, they took us throughout the whole facility, and there was nothing out of place, and everything was done nice. The place was very small and much quieter. There were less rooms, but it was one level, which is nice. It was small, clean, and it was run nicely. It was very hidden and it was hard to find. It is in a residential area.

My mother is moving into The Arbors at Bohemia. It was very nice. The people are very nice. The place is beautiful. Everything was nice and clean. I really liked it. I liked the people there. The residents looked happy. It was all on one level. I think it's definitely easier for the residents that way. I was able to see everything. The rooms were very nice. It was very clean, and everything was very well taken care of. I saw music and singing, and I learned that they have other things as well.

I toured The Arbors at Bohemia for a loved one, and it looked like a great place. The location was good, and everything looked fantastic. It was clean and the people were friendly. It looked spacious. I spoke to a couple of residents, and they said that they have been enjoying the experience over the last three years, and the staff was very helpful. It has spacious and versatile indoor and outdoor spaces.

I saw The Arbors at Bohemia a couple of years ago, and I really liked it. So far, whoever calls me from there is very polite, nice, and willing to help if I need. It looked very good, but I haven't personally had to deal with anything with someone being in there yet. The staff in charge and the woman behind the desk were all very nice. The place was clean. The overall appearance was comfortable, homey, and cozy. The rooms were good size. I didn't meet any nurses. I only met the front lady and the gentleman from the back office, but they were very, very nice.

I toured The Arbors at Bohemia for my mom, and I can say that they were very welcoming. They gave a fantastic tour. They showed me every component of the facility. They let me know about available activities, the amenities, the different ways we can visit with my mom while she's there, and I was very pleased. They have an outdoor barbecue area. They had a game room, they had a beauty salon, and they were able to do day trips. They have a family room that you can sign out and have dinners with your family, either catered by the facility for a charge, or you could bring food in from the outside. It was very clean, and the staff was all friendly and outgoing.

My mom is a resident at The Arbors at Bohemia. Placing a loved one in an assisted living community is a difficult decision that I faced three years ago. Now I can say with certainty, it was the best decision. The staff at the Arbors go above and beyond to welcome residents into the community. Because it is a smaller community, the wellness department can address the individual needs of each resident. During visits, I am able to watch these ladies perform their duties with patience and care. The staff has become part of our family, and that is what makes being at The Arbors like being home!

My dad moved into The Arbors at Bohemia. What I seemed to like most was it's all one level for him. He has a vision problem, so going up the elevator would be difficult for him. He has a back door to his room, so he gets to go outside in his lounge chair and enjoy the outdoors, which he loves. Everyone that works there is very friendly and nice, so he's been very happy with his care. It's very clean, very nice in and out, and they always decorate it for different events or holidays.

My mother-in-law is now at The Arbors at Bohemia. I love it. We're very happy and I think they're great. It's like a big living room, but it's not overly fancy. It's very nice, with couches, chairs, a beautiful dining room, and shared and private rooms which are also very nice. The staff is very pleasant, accommodating, and patient. I think the food is great and they have nice choices. I haven't tasted the food, but we've seen how it's laid out and what they serve, and it's very nice. They don't charge you by the levels; it's one rate. My mother-in-law is in a wheelchair so she needs help and they're very great with that, plus she needs medication help and they take care of that. They have an activity going every hour. I would definitely rate the staff with a five. They're amazing. And the facilities there are good, so we're happy with that.

I was very highly impressed with The Arbors Bohemia. The staff was wonderful. The facility was very clean, kept up very nicely, and I was very happy with it. They had arts and crafts, lectures, and movies. They had a nice array of various activities for the people. The outside grounds were very pretty and had a vegetable garden that the residents took care of. There were lots of flowers around. They had a beautiful lobby and the bedrooms were lovely.

The Arbors wasn’t as nice, but it was a more reasonable place. They said that they provide a lot of activities, but I did not witness any of them. The rooms were very nice, very clean, and small, but they were nice. Their common area was quite nice as well. I liked that it’s one level, my aunt prefers a one-level, and it’s more reasonably priced than the other place I looked at.

My mother’s sister is at the Arbors. It was very much like a nursing home, and it didn’t quite fit my mom who was a little bit independent. The people in there needed a little bit more attention. The staff was great, accommodating, and we had a wonderful time. I think they did a fabulous job with my aunt.

I liked The Arbors at Bohemia. The rooms were nice. The grounds were beautiful, and they had gardens and fountains. The residents were actively engaged in a musical program that they were having when I was there. The woman who took us around was very interesting.

My husband's mother got put in The Arbors, and they're very compassionate people and taking care of her right now. The staff are all very pleasant. It is a very clean and nice environment. They can improve on just having more options in terms of care for the elderly.

The ambience at The Arbors was nice. The facility was decorated, clean and neat. It was also safe. All of the staff was excellent. They also have an RN available. At the time of our visit there, activities were ongoing. As a whole this was a place you would want to go if you needed to go. However, things were not accessible as easy as I would have liked. I used a cane and it was difficult to get around this facility. There were long distances to get from place to place.

My mother has been here since December. It's very nice and clean. They have a lot of activities. The people there seem to be pretty nice with the my mother and the other residents. The main part is that they do have a lot of activities so they're not just sitting there all day long doing nothing. She plays bingo and all kinds of games, they have current events, they even take them to dinner. This place seems to be up on that. When we first put my mother in the room, there was a strong urine smell. We kept telling them and they kept telling us they cleaned it. After our complaining, they finally determined it was the carpet. They changed the carpeting and we got satisfaction from that.
