This place is ran like a correctional facility. Not allowed to see my mother. She’s locked away with no visitation rights. Staff yell at you at the front door to get out . I feel so bad for my mother. She cant see her kids or grandkids. Its nothing more than a trick on veterans, they dont know they are going into a lock down facility with no visitors. Sad

My dad is at the Veteran's Home in Batavia (Western New York State Veteran's Home at Batavia). I like that he has a huge discount because he is a naval veteran. The people there are fabulous. The food is good, and the medical care is excellent. The grounds are very nice. Inside it is clean and well-kept, and it has great security. I am extremely pleased. They have all kinds of activities. He has not gone to too many yet because he has not been there all day long, but there are a lot of stuff there. They have cards, trips, games, trivia night, ice cream Sundays, happy hour, football games, football parties, and movie nights. My dad likes the food, and he is actually putting on weights. I will absolutely recommend them to friends and family.
