Operating as a family-type home for adults, Barton Homestead provides long-term and respite care for the elderly and those with Alzheimer's and dementia. Its person-centered approach to care is characterized by a low ratio of one caregiver for every four residents and working closely with residents' physicians and families. The 24-hour staff members have first aid certifications and CPR training and can perform medication supervision. Supplemental services are provided based on the level of care residents require. Barton Homestead also offers day care services at daily rates.
