I am a resident of Peachtree Village Retirement Community. What I like most is that they fix all of our meals, and they have activities to do. They have bingo a couple of times a week and we play poker on Friday night, and we play card games at other times. The community is nice and clean. The staff was good. They cannot help us with medical things, but they can get us to the hospital or wherever we might need to go. They're very nice and very accommodating. There is a beauty shop here. They have their bus and they take us to places we need to go. They serve three meals a day.

I toured Peachtree Village Retirement, and it was fine. It was a very nice place, and they were very friendly. The staff gave me a talk about the room and the facilities. They showed me the common area, the cafeteria, and a one-bedroom apartment, and it's very clean.

I'm in Peachtree Village Retirement. The safety is wonderful. The staff is wonderful. They take good care of you and they don't interfere with your life in any way. They serve three meals a day. They have different things that they have periodically, but I don't really participate in some of those because I'm happy just being in my room, and I write and do different things. They have all kinds of things individually with each person. It's very conducive to having different times of doing different things. The food is wonderful. The facility is excellent. I've been here for a while, and I really can't say that there's anything detrimental. I've really been very pleased in all angles.

Peachtree Village was dated too, but it was really a lot homier to my mom. They had walls with family pictures and stuff, and they are really into that. Their arts and crafts room just seemed like it is something that people enjoyed being in. She felt a lot more comfortable there, the facilities felt homier to her, so she liked it a lot better. The staff was nice. It is just that coming back home she just thought that she is not ready to go somewhere yet. They had some facilities, if they were available at that time, on the ground floor like a pet area where the pet could get out, and it didn't have to be indoors all the time.
