Sombrillo Skilled Nursing & Rehabilitation Center is ideally situated in the heart of Los Alamos, New Mexico. It's close to Los Alamos Airport and just two miles from the Los Alamos Medical Center. The facility looks out over the Pueblo Canyon, giving residents stunning views.

Sombrillo Skilled Nursing & Rehabilitation Center can accommodate up to 64 residents and has high tech facilities and a compassionate care team that is overseen by a licensed physician. Staff members are trained in Alzheimer's and dementia care, and caregivers work with an interdisciplinary team of experts to ensure each resident receives the care they need for their condition. The team can provide stroke or cardiac recovery, diabetes care, pain management and a variety of other services.

Residents can take advantage of a spacious garden, homelike common rooms and lounges and on-site aviaries and aquariums. Meal service is included, and the nutritious menu is updated regularly to provide variety and promote healthy eating. The recreation program gives residents an array of choices for entertainment based on their interests and abilities.
