I truly can not say enough wonderful things about The Heritage Assisted Living facility. My Step Dad has been residing there for almost a year now, and he is now 101 years old. The rooms are very nice and you can have the freedom to express your loves, and talents and familiar items from home. The Management and Staff are so very helpful, friendly, and loving towards the residents. Covid 19 has been a challenge for the staff and residence and family members, but everyone has been so co-operative and helpful during these challenging time!

Heritage Assisted Living was more like a home rather than a facility. The tour I had was very good. The staff was very, very cordial and very helpful. They had a nice room with an adjoining bathroom and closet space. They were nice, a decent size, and they would accommodate very well. It's a one-bedroom with its own bathroom and one bedroom. They have an activity room. They also take their residents on shopping trips. They take them sightseeing and drive to the mountains. They also have music come in and entertainment. They had all kinds of amenities and their meals were all cooked from scratch and they're right there. It's a nice facility.

Heritage Assisted Living is way too expensive, but all of the assisted living places are. My mom is currently staying there. She has outlived her money already, and now I've used up most of my retirement savings while my husband kicks in the rest. We were thinking of moving her, but she doesn't want to. We checked out other places and it turned out to be the same, and for that money, I can't break my mom's heart. I just have to make it work. Also, there's not enough help or caregivers on the floor, but I like that it's kept clean and it feels homey. I wish they could be more interactive with the residents and do more activities. They had a room for hairdressing and stuff, but since COVID, they haven't used it.

Words cannot even begin to express our deep gratitude for the love and compassion that was shown to my father during the 14 months he lived here at the Heritage. His love and affection for all the caregivers was clearly seen in his reactions to them in his final days there. How he wouldn’t let go of their hands, how his face would light up when he heard their voice. His feelings could be summed up in his comment about a week before he went to Heaven: “This has been a good place…but I don’t belong here anymore.” From things he was saying, we could tell he knew his time here on earth was getting short. And their love and affection for him was clearly seen in the many, many acts of love and kindness they showed him, especially in his final few days before he went to Heaven. Coming to say Hi when they were working in the other building, coming to check on him—even when they were off-duty. Their love shown like a beacon. We were SO blessed to have him at the Heritage. God bless you all.

My mother is a resident of The Heritage in Las Cruces. They're wonderful to my mom. They help her with everything except eating. She can't go to the bathroom, bathe, or dress herself, and she has dementia on top of suffering a stroke and a fractured hip. There are few places that are better than here, but overall it's still a great place to be. I would recommend them to people who need to put their loved ones into assisted living care.

I would recommend The Heritage. I would have put my mother there, and I still may, because I liked the fact that they do long-term care. The rooms were very clean and orderly. I was so impressed by it. They had all kinds of activities for them. The grounds were very nice.

We had visited the Heritage Assisted Living, but it was just too expensive. They did not accept dogs. It was very clean and very nice. Everything was just okay there. The staff was very good. They were nice and very caring. I think they had ten rooms in one building and ten rooms in another building. It was beautiful-looking outside with very good landscaping. They had lovely plants and trees.

I feel like the staff at The Heritage is very easy to work with. They've been pretty good about calling me to see if I need the room. This weekend is about the only weekend that they didn't have a room, but it was fine because I didn't really need a respite for this weekend. The first time I took my mother-in-law there, she was missing some clothes. They were really good about making sure that when I picked her up, she had everything. I also label all her clothes when I take her, and I try to take the same clothes so they also know which are her clothes. I felt like they listened to me, because when I did tell them I was frustrated with the other places in her clothes, I think they knew it was important to me, and even the staff that they had gotten on them to find her pieces of clothing. They were pretty good about making sure everything was found, and after that, it seemed like nothing is ever missing anymore.

This assisted living provider was extremely helpful. The manager visited my home in the evening and met with me and others involved in my neighbor's care. She answered all of our questions and explained the progression of dementia. She helped develop a plan to get our neighbor into assisted living, as she was very reluctant to go. My neighbor stayed there for about 13 months before passing away. During her time there the staff was very attentive. They kept me apprised of her health status. They let me know when she needed items such as clothing or toiletries. The manager even offered constructive criticism of what I was doing and could do better to help my neighbor. I was very satisfied with their services and would recommend them to anyone.

My Beloved Cliff needed Assisted Living, for severe dementia and a broken hip. The Administrator, Alaina was always there, overseeing his and all the patients needs. She was/is very kind with a strong nature that sees things get done, including overseeing the caregivers at The Heritgage. Monica was/is the attending nurse. I named her MonicaAngel Could NOT ask for a better nurse or human being.. I live in LA and Cliff, my most caring friend lived in Las Cruces. I also have health issues, although I am considerably younger. Cliff recently passed away due to old age. He was coming up on 99. I was there as often as I could be, but when I wasn't, Monica was, and Cliff felt safe, and cared about. These two woman even went with him when he had to return to the hospital, visted and cared for him to the full extent possible while he was in another facility. The owner is Jay. I give The Heritage 5 Stars!!
