My mother is at Palmilla Senior Living. We are just impressed with everything that they have, the facility itself and the people. We're very happy here. She has a one-bedroom. Three meals are included in her fee every day. She likes the food very well, and she's very picky. They've got activities throughout the day. They've got a movie theater, a puzzle room, and a library. They have a little of everything. The staff members are fantastic. It's a beautiful facility.

Palmilla Senior Living is a vibrant community. They offer aging in place, so you can go from independent living to assisted living and stay in the same place. The food was fine. Nothing special. The facility itself looked like a very nice building. It's an active community. Residents go, intermingle, interact, and play games with each other.

Palmilla Senior Living was very nice. We were very pleased with it that's why we went ahead and put a deposit in, however, they didn't have enough availability of the units that we were looking for. They're one of the few that offer three levels of care, independent, assisted, and then memory care, including nursing care. It was very clean and the food was good although we didn't eat there. The woman that was there, her name was Macy, she never offered for us to eat there. They were very nice and the rooms were nice. They showed us the unit that they had available, but they were for one individual only. They were really small for my husband myself. They have happy hour, they have libraries, they have a theater, they have a game room, and an exercise room. It looks very nice.

I lived at Palmilla Senior Living Place. It was very nice. The staff was very helpful, the apartments were very well maintained, and the grounds were beautiful. The activities were plentiful, and I liked the food. I love the fact that there were washers and dryers in the units themselves. I appreciated the way the staff took care of the residents during the COVID pandemic. My room had a big sliding glass door, and I fed the birds. It had a ceiling fan and a full kitchen. It was nice.

Excellent staff committed to resident comfort, cleanliness and pain management. Throughout the organization - from the reception staff, marketing/sales personnel, dining room team, housekeeping, caregivers and med techs - all gave strict adherence to resident privacy during an extremely difficult time involving hospice care. Our family could not have asked for better care and kindness.

My aunt is in Palmilla Senior Living. They're just very thorough with her care, her medications, keeping her up to date as far as doctors appointments, and they're always keeping them busy. They have a priest come in, so they have a church there. They have activities for the residents, and they do a lot of work as far as memory goes. We're really happy with it. She's very happy with the food. They have a wide variety from fish to different types of meat. The kitchen is always open; there's always snacks for them, and they make sure that they stay hydrated. It's really nice.

Palmilla Senior Living was a really nice place, but it was fairly new and things kept changing all the time. You never knew what was going on from one day to the next. I was in the independent living, but it was very, very focused on the assisted living. They had one other area that was closed off where they housed residents who weren't conscious about what they were doing. So it had three different areas. It was very, very nice and I really liked it, but they kept changing things. Every week something different would be going on, and they were in the midst of changes all the time. The bedroom there was nice, but I like where I'm currently at better. They do activities like bingo, and once in a while they would have a speaker come in. If you wanted to go to a doctor, you had to go on either a Tuesday or a Thursday. The staff was pretty good, but where I'm at is much better because they're more focused on the single individual, rather than whether you're in independent or assisted living.

Spacious Rooms. Excellent facility, nice dining room. awesome residents. Excellent attentive staff. Very loving, caring and supportive. Easy access to location. My parents did not get involved in many of the activities so I cannot comment on that, The offerings look decent. Would highly recommend this location,

Palmilla Senior Living was very nice. The big downside for us with it was the location since their doctors are far. Palmilla will take them to their doctors but there's a fee because of the distance that the doctors were away from the facility. The staff who helped me was very nice. It was sitdown dining and my friends liked that.

Palmilla Senior Living has a mix of independent and assisted living which gives you an age range. It's a very nice facility. It has a lot of activities inside and they even have a movie theater with popcorn. They just started a new food policy where breakfast runs from 7:30 to 10:30 and lunch from 11:30 to 1:30, and so on, so that's so considerate for people who are forced to eat at certain time all the time. I liked the fact that there's a variety of food and the people who lived there picked the menu for once a month. The rooms were nice. They have a physical therapist and nurse on-staff. They have a buffet in the dining area and they have outside walking. They have a group that gets together in the morning around the facility. The gym was the best I saw and the guy, Anthony, whom I worked with, was very helpful.

Palmilla Senior Living was nice, welcoming, and friendly. It looked like a nice place, and my father-in-law was impressed with it. The staff was fine, friendly, and answered our questions. The dining area looked good, and the staff gave us coupons to dine there. There were a lot of people who looked like they liked it. It was in good shape and kept up nice.

Palmilla Senior Living was very nice and we enjoyed the restaurant very much. We liked everything about it pretty much, except that they have a pretty steep increase every year, so within 10 years, it's going to be double the price, to the point where we can't afford it. They could do more for the outdoor plans. They have three meals a day and they're open from early morning to late at night, and you can eat anytime you want rather than at a regulated time, so I like that. They had a beauty shop and spa, and a very nice movie theater. They also had rooms dedicated to activities and they take residents off campus for various activities all the time. The staff was very informative, knowledgeable, and friendly.

The best thing about Palmilla for my mom and dad is the transitional memory care. We did not want our parents to be separated and the transitional memory care program is an answer to prayer. Also the people are very friendly and helpful, the facility is clean, bright and quite lovely. I could go on and on. So happy to have found Palmilla and am looking forward to my parents moving in!

Palmilla Senior Living was very good, and the staff was very helpful, friendly, knowledgeable, and welcoming. They had a nice exercise room, a billiards table, and a poker room. They have a good array of activities. We had lunch there, and the food was pretty good and the dining room was nice. They had a barber and beauty shop, linen service, and personal laundry service. It's both independent and assisted living. They had a van for transportation.

We visited Palmilla Senior Living, but they did not have any rooms or apartments available. The common area was wonderful. It was a great place. The staff was excellent, friendly, and accommodating. The grounds and the layout were good. It would have been our first choice for our parents. It had more than what I had expected and the price in comparison with the others was reasonable. It was a really wonderful place. I would recommend them to others 100%. It was newer and a little more updated as far as current styles went.

Palmilla Senior Living was a brand new facility that has been opened less than two years ago. Our experience was very positive. The atmosphere was excellent with wonderful view, extremely nice setting. We would be very comfortable there. They are one of the two places that is on our list. The staff that we met were extremely nice people and we enjoyed interacting with them. The food was excellent and they have a really good meal plan where you can eat anytime from 7AM to 7PM, and have anything on the menu which appears to be excellent.

We visited and liked Palmilla. Everybody was very nice. We had lunch there, and the food was good. We liked that it wasn’t as large as others. They had casitas, which were like little cabins that included a garage, which I liked because I was still driving. It would give us space for our car and also a place for my husband to have a little workshop, which you could not do if you were in the main building. I liked that it had the assisted living and memory care on campus. It was spotless and super clean. The people were very nice.

My mother has been a resident of the memory care unit at Palmilla for one year. Previously, she was in memory care in another facility. The difference is like night and day. Palmilla's memory care unit is clean, bright, and fresh. The residents are treated with attention and compassion no matter how bad their day is going. A variety of activitiesare offered and the staff does it's best best to create a homey environment at a very difficult time. The Director of the Memory Care, Pat, has brought a new level of competency and compassion to the facility. She makes suggestions and reaches out to our family in a manner I have not seen before. Thank you everyone for making a very difficult time of life as pleasant as possible for residents and family.

The room of my father at Palmilla Senior Living is a small studio because he used to be in a two-bedroom apartment. He is getting so much confusion because it is too big for him. They have memory care which is extremely important now because my dad’s situation is changing in that direction very quickly. They have nurses on-staff, and there is doctor who visits the facility frequently. It is a lot convenient for my brother, and myself. The staff has been very good. They were very responsive to him. They are going above, and beyond what I requested them to do. They get dad involved in the exercise classes, and art classes; which is very unlike my dad, and they made him do a butterly magnet. I am very happy with that, and everytime I would call, there is always somebody with him assisting him with something. They have a physical therapy group. One of the best things that is working out really well for my dad is he can choose to dine in any one of their two dining rooms, and he can eat anytime he wants to. Their food was pretty good, and my brother was impressed with the breakfast. I had plain-hamburger, and it was really good; grilled with no extenders. Parking was an issue though.

What was kind of neat about Palmilla is that they had all levels: assisted living, memory care, and just regular care for people of all types. They had situations where the husband or the wife is in the memory care unit and the other spouse is in the other section, and they're able to go and spend time with each other as much as they want during the day. The rooms were pretty roomy. They want people to bring in their own furnishings, so that they're not like a stranger in their own home. The staff was also very friendly, and when I walked in, they said, "Hello! Thank you for coming. How may I help you?"

In my interactions with the facility. I have moved my mother into Palmilla one year ago. It saddens me to see my mother complain to me how" Liz the Nurse" said she did not have enough time evaluate her before she left for the day.I could not come to visit her as often as I would like since I am sick myself .She was up all night having a hard time breathing.I am very disappointed in the ignorant and incompetent nurse.I found another loving facility for my mother.

We did visit Palmilla Senior Living. My wife liked it, but I thought it was just too big and impersonal. It was too large, and there were too many people there. However, the staff was fine. They were very professional. Also the facility's sanitation was excellent. It was very clean.

My father-in-law was recently taken there in Palmilla Senior Living. It was a great place, and I was very impressed with it. They had all kinds of activities for him. He paid a little more money to be a part of a club situation. He spent a lot of time with a certain number of people in this club. He was acquainted with them. They did a lot of activities together, and he needed that because had Alzheimer's. All of the different aspect of the facility was terrific. They had lots of activities there. They had a two-year anniversary party for the residents who had been there for two years. They had movies almost nightly. They had a pizza party there for my father-in-law, and some of our family showed up. They had different kinds of places to eat. He was in a private room. It was studio. It was very nice. He had a small bathroom, a small kitchen where he could heat stuff and that kind of thing. I liked that the staff was very caring for him. They were very concerned about him falling once while he was there, so they restricted him wheelchair only. It was beautiful facility. Everything was well kept and clean. I would recommend it.

We went over to Palmilla. It looked nice and clean. The rooms and apartments were adequate. They had a private dining room you can reserve if you want to have your family in for a meal or a party. It was nice.

I went to Palmilla Senior Living, and it's a 5-star place and very expensive. Even though I didn’t have any appointment, they still took me on a tour, and that amazed me. The place is really amazing. The staff who toured me was very nice and informative. She told me a lot of things that they did there. They have two different restaurants -- one for assisted living and one for people that have memory issues. They a have place where people get together for happy hours. They have a theater, and their rooms are really nice.

I found Palmilla Senior Living online. The staff did a very nice tour and answered any questions that we had. The apartments and the dining room were very pleasant. They have exercises, card activities, movies, and transportation. It seemed to be a quite open and very pleasant surrounding.

My family and I visited Palmilla recently. Since is a new community of course everything looks good. A few days later I ran into a friend of mine at church and she was telling me that her family moved their mom out of Palmilla because the care was awful. Her mom lived there for 2 months and was constantly being left in her room, twice they gave her the wrong medications and weren't checking on her like they were supposed to. After numerous meeting with the nurse and management they finally had to move her. She said that It was hard sleeping at night not knowing if she was being taking care of. After speaking with my friend we decided to cross Palmilla off our list.

What I really like about Palmilla is that they have a memory care unit. When I took the tour, I was impressed how they had it designed and set up. They did have the same kind of friendly service as with the other facility. However, they were more business-oriented. Nevertheless, they were able to keep the friendliness. The atmosphere was good. I wasn't able to see a room, so that was an inconvenience. They did not have a room cleared in which I can go and look. The only thing I could tell about this facility was that this was more aimed for the well-off people. It was very fancy, very nice and very exclusive.

My mother has been here since July 2013. It's like living in a hotel-brand new, good food, lots of activities, transportation, helpful and nice staff. I can come and go at any time to visit her. I do think the assisted living costs are a little bit high, though. I would recommend Palmilla. My mother is has her own apt and is pretty happy there.

Palmilla is a beautiful facility. I would absolutely recommend this place. It's brand new and it's very clean. The rooms were quite beautiful. They have all these handicap accessibility necessary in a bathtub and in the bathroom. What I also like about this facility is that they have many activities and they even have gardening. They also do exercises and video. They even have a little movie theatre. They have nurses in the facility as well as doctors coming in. They invited us for lunch and my mother loves the food. It was delicious. Their dining room is almost restaurant style. They give you a menu for your food selection.
