I'm at Kent Avenue Apartments. I moved in in 2007, and I've been there ever since for 17 years. The staff is wonderful, caring, and always willing to help you in any way they can. They're great. There's good maintenance. I have a kitchen, living room, bedroom, and bath. Central air and heat are included. Hot water is included. It's five floors. We have a community room and we have a recreation committee that forms different activities for everyone like dinners and they have bingo. They'll make a birthday cake for the people that had birthdays. They have football games, and all the holidays downstairs are usually catered. It's very nice and simple. There's a small kitchen and the dining area would be probably right outside of the kitchen. It's not a separate dining area. Activities aren't all the time. There are only activities a couple of times a month. The rent is reasonable. I also have a HUD voucher, so that helps me. This apartment building is not State-run, so it doesn't give you a voucher, but it will take one if you have it. I love it here.
