Hi. Black Friday I strolled in to Harmony get some information -- I did not know I was the first live inquiry. At the time my mom was living in Stamford CT and was having more difficulty and it was apparent that the facility she was in would not be able to continue to take care of her -- She moved to the second floor of Harmony around April 1. What stands out is an ample and caring staff - and low low low staff to resident ration. the staff is fun, friendly, lively ---- and besides the care givers there are others around: nurse, housekeeping, dining services.. A trip around the floor is great exercise. The music was always playing -- the caregivers dancing with residents.. My mom passed just 6 weeks later and one of the most touching thing was that the staff dressed her and did her hair after she passed. I cannot imagine a nicer and more caring environment.

We were amazed with Harmony Village at CareOne Paramus, with the quality of it and things like that. I didn't want to leave. I was ready to move in. It is exclusive memory care, and I was very impressed with the quality. I was impressed with everything. It's the Cadillac, but maybe it was the Rolls Royce of memory care facilities (with prices to match). I have no negative things to say about it other than I wish it were closer to my house.

Harmony Village at CareOne Paramus is designed solely for people with dementia, it's dedicated to that, and so you have different levels. I highly recommend it. It's exceptionally beautiful, the private rooms are beautiful, the staff is really wonderful. The nurses are only there during the day, at night you don't have them, but they're well trained to handle things. They have outdoor and indoor activities, they have art rooms, TV, and you can pretty much design the room however you want it. The food was great.

I loved Harmony Village at CareOne Paramus, but it's expensive. It's complete memory care but they have them in different levels. Everybody is fairly educated in memory care and how to deal with the patients. Its a brand-new place and has only been around for a year and a half. It seems vey well organized and everything is suited for the situation.

Pro's 1. Very nice and new building. 2. Staff particularly the attendents work hard to make loved ones comfortable. 3. Senior Staff willing to listen to criticism and they will make changes. CONS 1. They dont pay their staff so turnover is high. 2.food is pretty bad. God help you if your loved one has special diet needs or is a vegetarian they really dont know what to serve so they give them the same things over and over. 3. Entertainment is lacking after 5 and on weekends. Your loved one will be bored on weekends not a lot going on consistently. 4. Rooms very Nice and they kerp the building very clean. Overall things could be better but the industry as a whole suffers from high turnover of staff cause the business model is to be cheap with the people actually doing the work. Care One Paramus is no better or worse than its competitors on that issue. I give them 3 stars overall the staff is handcuffed by senior managements cheapness and the program suffers because of it.
