When my sister-in-law came to LNH she weighed 90 lbs and I was preparing for the end. She has suffered from dementia since 2012. She was in another facility that wouldn't accept her back from rehab after she broke her hip. LNH isn't as flashy as some other facilities, but the care they give their residents is top notch. My SIL has gained back weight with nourishing tasty food. Where she was previously her tray was dropped on a table and left. At LNH she gets the individual attention and is fed, hence her improved physical condition. I highly recommend LNJH. Their billing is all inclusive. At the previous facility I was charged for laundry, personal care, dispensing of medication. It was difficult to budget as each month, depending on the care needed my bill would fluctuate . LNH's billing has enabled me to budget my SIL's assets.

This is the best kept secret in New Jersey. It is a small (29 residents),private facility that has been in business for over 50 years. Nurses are on staff 24/7, and the aide to patient ration is 1:4; you won't find that at any other facility. If you have a loved one who has numerous medical problems, and truly needs "nursing" care around the clock, this is the place. My husband was there for a year and a half, and my parents are presently there. If you are looking for glitz or glamour, or a modern, steel and glass building, this is not for you. It is in a large, old mansion in Montclair, extremely well-kept, but weathered. but if you want the best care for your loved one, this is the place. I cannot say enough good things about it.

I visited Little Nursing and Convalescent, and I like the place. It seemed reasonably priced, and it looked like they had everything I would need to have.
