Sunrise of East Brunswick was nice and clean. There were no smells in there that are unpleasant. The people were very, very nice. They explained everything to me and my daughter. What I liked about it also was my mom would have to go to memory care and I was able to go there and see the staff interact with the residents. I thought my mom would be very happy there and I felt really good leaving there. I did not try any type of food there. Everything was nice and clean. It was neat when we walked in. You could eat off the floors. There was nothing on the floor. The rooms were a nice size for the residents. I liked it. The people I dealt with were very nice. The staff during the tour was very, very nice. I think she sold me on the place. She knew what she was talking about. She had a lot of experience with memory care especially. I love the place. As far as I dealt with them, I like the place a lot. I'm very confident with them.

The lady who toured us at Sunrise of East Brunswick was nice and informative. The rooms looked fine and they were clean. They had an outdoor area for the memory care residents that was closed off. It was a very clean and nice facility.

My tour experience at Sunrise of East Brunswick was very good. It's very homey, and it makes you feel like you're on a cruise ship. The area where they eat is set up like a restaurant. The staff interacts quite extensively with the patient and everybody knows everybody. Everybody was friendly. The staff who gave me the tour was very, very knowledgeable. She had worked her way up in the company and was quite thorough. She went over things with me quite extensively, because my father was a picky eater. And it seemed like it was going to be a very easy thing if he was staying there. The facility was very clean and kept up. They're probably among the best ones that I've seen.

When we first visited with my Mom we were told "they have never kicked anyone out" for not being able to continue to pay the over $8,000/month fee for living there. My Mom has paid them over $250,000 in the last 2.5 years and now that she doesn't have the money to continue to pay that they want to ship her off to another facility of their choosing without telling us where until the last minute. She's 92 and it will be devastating for her to have to move. They said they are at their quota for Medicare and will not have a bed for her. Don't send your loved ones there!!!!!!

My mother is in Sunrise of East Brunswick, but she doesn't want to be there. The staff seems OK to me. She's in a one-bedroom room by herself. There's nothing outstanding and it's very expensive for that room. They lock you in there so you can't get out. It's a nice place, it's clean, but it's very pricey. To me, it's just a holding cell for older women whose minds don't work and they're just locking them in a big area. They have room to walk around and do what they want. They're not locked in their rooms.

I liked Sunrise of East Brunswick and I liked the layout. It was circular and everything was in the middle and the rooms were on the edge, so there's more hands- and eyes-on the residents. The staff seemed pretty friendly. The dining and snack area looked nice. They have an open door policy, and in the evening they seem to have more staff members. They have a resident dog that walks around, which was friendly.

This is just what I wanted for mom, I can finally sleep at night . Sunrise of East Brunswick offers her the love and concern that due to work and logistics I cannot provide daily. Mom has thrived here, making new friends and involved in so many activities. The baking club and singing are her 2 favorite. The staff is top notch with their care and respect. Although mom was nervous, she’s so glad we got rid of the home health aid and gave her this new life.

My mother currently lives at this community. Deciding on a community was the toughest decision I've ever had to make until I found this community. The staff at Sunrise treats my mother like their own. They truly love her. They are heaven sent and we are so blessed to have found this community. It's worth it to see her happy and cared for.

The people I talked to at Sunrise of East Brunswick were professional, competent, and knowledgeable. The amenities were average. The place was more convenient and easier to get to. The price is very much the same as the others, so it's average. The location was very good.

We were able to view Sunrise of East Brunswick, and our visit was very good. The rooms are much more spacious. They have more availability with their activities as they work with the county. They have a lot more availability with travelling and picking up residents, taking them to different activities. The staff were fabulous. They gave us a homemade apple pie and that was unbelievable -- just from visiting. It was really good.

Sunrise of East Brunswick was nicely appointed. The people there were friendly. The staff was all friendly and outgoing. They gave information that we asked for. However, the room arrangements for a couple seemed very awkward for me. Also, their activities were very sedentary like word games, etc., nothing that was very impressive.

Sunrise is close by me which is good but they don?t take Medicare. It was wonderful, I really liked it and I think my mom would have liked it as well. I checked out the rooms and the apartment was so nice, it looked like a big house. The rooms were beautiful and they could eat whenever they wanted to eat. The staff was very friendly, they let me know about all the programs they gave and I enjoyed the visit.

My mother is already settled and is living in an assisted living area at Sunrise of East Brunswick. She has only been there for two weeks now but everything is good so far. The place is clean. The staff is good. They take care of their residents. The food is good. Everything is excellent. I like this place especially because it doesn't look like a nursing home. It has a porch outside. It's like a home away from home. Regarding activities, they do go on daytrips and stuff like that. My mother said she went on their trips and that they took them out to eat. They also have bingo, arts and crafts too. I would definitely recommend this place.

Sunrise of East Brunswick is an okay facility, but they didn't have more grounds. The dining room was nicely done, but the rooms were a little smaller. I noticed that they have a board posted with activities for the residents.

The apartment complex at Sunrise Communities is very white, with very narrow hallways. The rooms itself are fairly big; it is a five story building with retired seniors living in it. The complex itself was very well maintained, very well lit, and seemed like a very quiet place. They had activities set up on weekends for all of the residents. Each hall had a coordinator, who would stop by the rooms between two to three times a day to make sure that everyone was well. Some seniors living in the homes needed assistance; families were constantly in and out of the facility every time I entered. Other seniors received assistance from the caretakers assigned to them who worked at the facility. Generally speaking, the vibe of the community was relatively vibrant. Although I personally would not want to live there, I think it makes a great place for senior citizens.

I really liked the exterior of this facility from the moment that I walked in. I was greeted by a representative at the facility with a smile and was taken the room that my friend was at. The staff seemed like they were very pleasant and positive and had a lot of patience with the inhibitors of the establishment. I had a very nice lunch that was surprisingly of high quality and saw that the bathroom was also very well-kept. My relative who was living at the facility was very happy and raves about the treatment and care that they provide for her. Additionally, I was very happy with the amount of activities such as card games and sports that they provide to keep the people there as active as possible. Overall, this was a very enlightening and enjoyable experience that I had. I highly recommend the Sunrise of East Brunswick.
