I toured Harmony Village CareOne at Cherry Hill. It was a beautiful place. It was not very active like the patients were not very active, and the active part was important to me. The cost was too high. The staff was wonderful. The building, it's brand new, super clean, large, and a beautiful place. The private rooms were a good size, and they're double rooms where we're a nice size too. The layout is similar to the other community. It's large with courtyards. So it's a very nice layout.

I was only here for about an hour, but I found it very clean and very nice. The staff was very supportive in answering my questions. They also showed me where their rooms were. The residents could have a one-bedroom or a shared room. So, I was just really impressed with the whole thing. The person who toured me gave me a lot of information. I told her about the whole situation and she gave me any information to help me out with. So, she was very knowledgeable and I was really happy with her. The rooms were also very spacious. It was nice. My mom would be allowed to bring her own stuff in, which is definitely what I want to do, and she will have her own bathroom. Their dining area was very quaint. There was one big room with all tables in it, and there's a lot of people sitting there watching television. I believe it's their cafeteria type of thing too, where they eat. There were crafts, exercises, and a lot of different things.

We put a deposit down for my mother. They're geared towards memory care, and I like that it's brand new and she could pick the room she wanted. I like their philosophy and how they deal with the residents. They're all single, large rooms with a walk-in bathroom and a walk-in shower, and you bring your own furniture. The meals are served dining room style, and you pick from a menu. They have a lot of activities for the residents. They have a chef, and the food is excellent. The facility is beautiful and compact, one floor, and it's more a feeling of community than facilities that have several floors and several different units. It all centers around an atrium where there are benches and greenery.

My tour here was very nice, it's brand-new, beautiful, and the facilities were similar to the other places. They had a beauty parlor, physical therapy room, and the doctors are in the same room. It was a little bit farther from my house, and it has a big dining room, so it was a long distance to walk, and it was a little overwhelming. The staff was very nice, they gave me a full tour, and answered all my questions. It's fairly new, and they didn't have a lot of people there yet.

It was new and nice. The staff was excellent and the rooms were large. They have activities and big TV screens. I was surprised that the only thing they supply is care, food, and toilet paper. You have to provide your own shampoo, soap, and towels. Some residents were playing cards, coloring, singing, and dancing when I visited. I asked about putting a TV in the resident's rooms and they said they would rather have the residents out with the public. They take them to Wal-Mart and on excursions.
