It is small, personal, clean, and doesn't have smell to it. They have bingo, music, exercise programs, and themed parties for different days like Cinco de Mayo. The staff is friendly, approachable, thorough, and caring. They did everything to help my mom move my dad in and made it very easy for him to transition there. They were very kind with my mom and very helpful in making the whole admission process very easy for us during a very stressful time.

I went to tour Forestview Manor. The rooms all looked nice and clean. They're clean-smelling. However, right now, they are somewhat limited. They have shared rooms. They have a gym, a dining area, and a nice outdoor patio. They showed me their calendar of events. They just had a fall tour. But I like the outdoor patio. The staff who gave the tour was friendly.

I had an in-person tour of Forestview Manor. I didn't like the fact that it was three buildings, so it was segregated. The level of care was the same type of people in the same area. It was a small building. The staff members were very nice and informative. The cleanliness of the facility seemed good. The dining area was adequate for its size. The building was in a circle, so the dining area was in the middle, and then the rooms were on the outside. I didn't like the atmosphere. I didn't think it was the right place for my mother.

The tour we had at Forest View Manor was good. It was a much smaller facility and it felt a little more homey. But the rooms were not apartments, it felt more like a dorm room. The common areas felt more homey. They were nice rooms but they were just very, very small. It wasn't like an apartment where if we were to come with our children, there was no seating area or living room. We'd have to be in a common area. The bedroom only fits a twin bed. The staff who assisted us was very good. They're under renovation right now, so everything was kind of in the middle of construction. I think it's going to be beautiful from what we saw. They had a small courtyard. I don't know how you access it and they didn't take us out to it. There was a small 3 season porch. But again, because they're going through renovations, we couldn't go out and see it because it was filled with old furniture.

Forestview Manor was inviting. I had a very warm kind of reception there. It was very good. The woman who gave me the tour was very good as well. The room I saw seemed spacious. I saw how people set the place up, in terms of their own furniture. This place particularly focuses on memory or cognitive care. They seemed to emphasize that. Even within the rooms, they had ways of helping people with memory issues and such. I saw the area where the dining takes place. There was a library and they had exercise options. They had people doing painting and a person doing crossword puzzles and they had movement exercises and such. There were different options. They had an outside area that eventually if we start getting warm weather, I'm sure they'll go out to use it.

Forestview Manor was an older facility. It was small, but it had more of a homey atmosphere instead of a big commercial building. We saw the rooms and they were actually redoing the room that we saw. They were private rooms with private baths. They have a function room, which was the dining room where they have crafts and games and stuff like that.

My visit here was very good. I was very happy with the person who took us around. She took plenty of time and she knew the place and needs very well. She also gave us a lot of information. I like that the place is close, small, personable and cater to the citizens and treated like it's their home and place. It has a nice, homey and personal feeling to it. It had more of a private feel to it. They have all sorts of activities, group sessions, and bus tours to different events. We were satisfied with all the different things they do.

It was very nice. The staff was very cordial and showed me all the rooms they had available. They had three different, older buildings dedicated to certain service needs of the residents. The staff seemed very nice and very prepared to help residents with memory care. They had multiple ongoing activities. The rooms were more like studios.
