My father moved into Maple Suites. His room is very nice, and it has a backdoor that goes to the back courtyard area, which was really nothing else we had ever seen. It has this big bay window, and it overlooks a garden. It's very nice, but he says they're having a problem with servers in the dining room. Because of Covid, there just aren't enough people who are willing to have a job like that, or they probably are still on unemployment. He said it takes a really long time to get the food once you sit down, but he says the food is good. The staff is really attentive. There are lots of activities. The grounds are beautiful and everything else is really nice. My dad's room wasn't completely spotless. Some of the drawers hadn't been wiped out, and the shower wasn't completely clean. It's kind of right off the highway, and it's not really a great location. It was the most affordable one that we could find that was closest to our house.

I have been to Holiday Maple Suites, and I found that to be very nice. That is a consideration. We are on the waiting list there. The best thing for us, because we are outdoor people and we love to sit outside, is that they have little decks at each one of their apartments. You have a private little deck where you can sit outside in the sunshine and read your book, and that's really important to me and to my husband. That was the one thing that I had not found anywhere else. They got this beautiful landscaping, and they have a lot of maple trees. It's very, very pretty, and it's very nice. They also offer three meals a day, and that's good. They have transportation that will take you to your doctor's offices and all that, which I think is very good, so we like that. It's independent living only, but if you need some assistance they will put you in touch with any services available in the area. You would pay for that independently, which is OK. I really liked it there. With people that are on the waitlist there, they offer us to be able to come in when they have a special occasion. Two weeks ago they had a Hawaiian thing. It was very nice and very good. We met quite a few people, so that was nice too, and the staff members were very helpful.

I toured Holiday Maple Suites. I appreciated having the meals delivered. They have a dining hall there, and you can choose just a simple to go to a restaurant with choices you can take. They offer rides to different appointments free of charge. The only thing holding me back was that I couldn't afford it. I was hoping that I could get VA assistance but I haven't had any good luck on that one yet. Jennifer showed me everything. She was very cordial, and informative, and answered all the questions I had. I had a regular meal. They have a no-charge vending machine for snacks.

We saw a studio apartment at Holiday Maple Suites and that was lovely. It's got a little balcony and a little kitchen thing. You can't cook anything, but you can have a microwave, a coffee maker, and a little cube of a refrigerator. They had beautiful bathrooms. The one-bedroom apartment was still empty because they had just renovated it. So, they hadn't filled every apartment. They had a big dining room with a chef and a choice of meals. We weren't offered to eat there. The basic rents were reasonable compared to other places. It's like $3,000 a month but then there's extra, like laundry service or if you need some physical therapy and I can imagine that those extras would add up quickly, and they don't take Medicaid either. So, it would have been out anyway, even if my friend would have liked it. Being just renovated, of course, everything was so super clean and wonderful. Where it is in Dover, there's a big piece of land and they have trails there for walking and what have you. So for independent living, I think it looks like a wonderful place. I had two different tour experiences there. The first one, I had arranged ahead of time and the person was very professional, very good, very friendly, and very understanding about everything. She was wonderful. Then the second tour was impromptu because I decided I wanted to bring my friend there to see it right away, but the first person wasn't available and the second person was not good, but I think it wasn't her job description to do the tour.

Holiday Maple Suites was poorly done. They don't have comfort toilets in their places, and they don't have a full kitchen. These are the two things that turned me off. They don't progress into assisted. It's just senior living, and then from there you have to find your own place, which I did not like. Another thing is that you had to eat their meals. It was included in the price, and there was no way you could make your own food. It had a kitchenette, but lots of luck for making meals. The lady who showed me the place was very nice.

I have toured Holiday Maple Suites. I liked their units. The apartments were large and had a lot of windows. I didn't have a meal there, but they're very flexible in terms of that. The staff who gave me the tour was very good. They had a small exercise room which was just a room with a couple of machines, and I saw people mostly playing bingo. I don't think they have a lot of facilities, but they had a dining area, a reception room, and a room for meetings.

Holiday Maple Suites had a balcony that you could go out and sit on. It was $40 extra, but that's not a big deal. I think it was $3497 with a balcony and $3450 something without a balcony. They give three chef-prepared meals a day, breakfast, lunch, and dinner. You can have a kitchenette where you can have everything like a microwave and coffee. You just can't have a hot plate. They are independent living, but if you have other needs, they could have people come in. They were a little pushy, but the lady I toured with was very knowledgeable and knew what was going on in the place. There were snacks out for people in between meals and things, and the menu looked quite nice. There was a lot of construction, even the room we looked at wasn't done, and there were people in there working on it. They're a little out of town, but not very far. They have a bus if you can log on early that will take you to doctor's appointments and things. There was a very close grocery store, too. Inside, they have a courtyard, walking trails, a dining area, a function area with a piano, exercise rooms, laundry, a hair salon, and things like that.

Apartments are very nice as are the grounds and residents. However, the local and corporate management have little interest in the wellbeing of residents. “Renovations of common areas have been ongoing for almost 5 months so there are hardly any large rooms available. There are few activities except for games planned by residents themselves. However, rates have increased substantially during this period and now petty charges are being introduced if residents are unable to come to dining room. Do not recommend living here!

Holiday Maple Suites was more conveniently located in Dover yet has a park-type location surrounded by trees and trails that it felt like you're in the country. The staff we met was great. Jessica was super friendly and easy to talk to. She was professional yet very friendly. It's a beautiful building and it looks good. The parts that were redone were fabulous. They provide transportation as needed and open planned activities for the residents. It's pet-friendly and we've met a very nice dog there.

I did a tour of Holiday Maple Suites. They're remodeling it and are in the process of doing that. They have very nice and helpful staff. I think the rooms might be a little small, but other than that, it's a good facility. They have a bath and kitchen, and it has brand new rugs in there. They're moving the library and stuff like that. The dining room was remodeled, and everything is new, including new carpeting and tables. A lot of stuff was taken out of there so they can start ripping up the rugs, those were old.

The staff we met at Maple Suites was very nice. I especially liked Steve, who took us on the tour. He was a delightful person. The rooms were better sized and I'd seen other places. I wanted some outdoor space that looks nice and the way it was set up, they had a very nice walking area and outdoor space. I was on the third floor and they had a little bit of room (a very small patio) to have two outdoor chairs. They have movies, cards, and games, too. I asked about Bridge (because I play bridge) and they said they have a small group of people that play it. I think there was also a small book club.

My father is a current resident of the facility. We were quite pleased with it prior to the ownership change. However... now it's not the case. I am very upset with the fact that my father's room is not getting tidied up weekly, nor is he getting bedding, or towels weekly. The last time he had a towel change was 3 weeks ago. 3 weeks ago! It's a shame. They are having an issue with keeping employees that do the cleaning, or serving. I understand that with Covid there are some real hiring challenges, however the residents should not be affected. The food is good, he says. And the facility is very warm and friendly feeling. They have some fun activities. Bingo, Superbowl parties, arts and crafts, yoga, chair fitness... Fun stuff! Interactions with staff... friendly. No issues there. I do see that they are stressed, however. I feel bad for the ONE girl that does the tidying on my dad's floor. She seemed really stressed when I asked her about the 3 week towel change. I felt badly for her. It's really sad though that a lot of these residents do not have much other choice. It's hard to find housing like this that is semi-affordable. At least I can voice my opinion, and let others know... this place was great at one point. Now, not so much. Perhaps they will get it together, and make this place awesome again. But, not yet.

I like the care that people get at Maple Suites. They're able to walk around and talk to other people, and it's just a beautiful setting. The staff is very, very nice. I really like Barbara, she understood what we were going through. So I was impressed. The room was magnificent; if we're going with Maple Suites, we're probably going to end up going with their studio. They seem very spacious, I was very surprised because I thought they were going to be smaller. I'm very satisfied with the activities; they have bingo and movies. I like the atmosphere a lot. My boyfriend and I were both very impressed with the way they take care of their patients. I got hungry when she started mentioning what foods they have and the dining area was nice and professional. I thought that it was quiet, it was beautiful, and the setting was incredible.

I'm in Maple Suites. It has been pretty good. The staff members are excellent. Recently, a new company took over management of it. They lost a lot of management people and some of the housekeeping staff, so it remains to be seen how it goes. There are all kinds of activities here, and the staff members are very friendly. Food is good, but it can be repetitious. Up until a couple of weeks ago, every Saturday night, they had hotdog and beans, and then three weeks ago, every other Saturday night, they had hamburgers. They have balloon volleyball, bocce ball, bowling, exercising, yoga, and zumba. The place is clean, but I think it is overpriced.

We visited the Maple Suites in Dover, and we liked it. There were quite a few amenities that I was interested in, that my husband was also pleased with. We saw a 2-bedroom apartment, which is what we needed. They allowed pets and I got one cat, so that's important to me. We both really fell in love with it, that we pretty much didn't consider any other facility. We were also able to dine there, and the food was really good. They were just fantastic.

We went to the Maple Suites, and that was our favorite. It was excellent, and I think the girl that showed us around was very, very helpful. We saw the menu, it looked good. I think the outside of some of the apartments looked cluttered. There are movies, bingo, and games.

Maple Suites is wonderful and a beautiful place. It's like my mom is living on a cruise ship. There's a wonderful dining hall just a short walk from her room. The food is quite good. My mom's room is clean and she feels safe there. They have a cleaning service that comes in once a week that changes her bedding and cleans her room. She loves it there and we're so happy that she's well-settled. The staff is very nice and friendly. My mom has really become friends with a lot of them. There are many activities like art, Bingo, and music. The value is very good.

My mom moved into Maple Suites and she was able to get in quickly. I know they have movies, they do games, and sometimes they have people come in with pets. They have a chapel, salon, and library.

I found this establishment for my brother-in-law. He is a very picky eater; he LOVES the food. The staff is VERY friendly and very good at what they do. His apartment is IMMACULATE; his eyesight is failing so I know he's not the one keeping his bathroom, kitchen and floors clean! He's ALWAYS doing something with somebody - the residents all seem to do a nice job of looking out for each other - what a GREAT community...

The staff at this facility is warm , friendly, and helpful. Those who already live there seem very happy. My invitation for a meal was a thoughtful gesture, which made me feel comfortable and welcomed. The food was excellent, fresh and tasty. I would recommend any senior who is considering independent living to look into Maple Suites.

I placed my brother at Maple Suites. They have everything to offer for the residents. They are on a 31-acre preserved land and they have a lot of open space. He likes being in nature, so that is where he wanted to be. He is in a little studio apartment and he got everything he needs there, so that was the main thing. The place is absolutely clean and almost new.

The rooms at Maple Suites are adequate, and the environment is good. The food is very good. I just think they should offer a little bit more nursing care. The staff is fine. There are no problems. It is a lovely building. The amenities are perfect and nice.

Maple Suites was a beautiful place with a beautiful dining room. The lady there was very nice. They gave me a tour of a couple of rooms that were beautiful, but they didn't have an available room without wall-to-wall rugs, which is what Mom wanted. They had a guest speaker while I was there and six or seven activities a day. They have a library, an exercise room, a pool table, a computer room, and a little chapel. They had a beautiful outdoor deck that looked like a resort.

I visited the place and was please with what I found. Saw a few rooms and found them very clean and comfortable. I just wish there was a stove in them. There is a room set up so you can go and cook a meal in the oven or on top. I did have lunch there and the food was very good. Also got to sit with residence and talk. Everyone I spoke to like the place a lot. I dp plan on moving into this place

I don’t remember anything dramatic about Maple Suites. I was treated fine, and I was pleased with them. It was clean. The staff was very pleasant. I had no complaints at all. It’s just that what I saw wasn’t probably what I had imagined for myself. It could be great for somebody else, but it wasn’t what I thought I wanted. It would suit most people in this day and age. Well, I think of it as an institution, no matter what way you look at things. They are institutions, and that's what I expect of them. I know they're businesses, and I don’t feel bad about saying "an institution." It doesn’t bother me. It wasn’t a place I got excited about; I didn’t get that feeling, but it would be fine. I went in there very casually and came out very quickly. Usually when you go to any place, it's only the negatives you remember, and I don’t remember anything negative about the place.

My siblings and I visited this facility before bringing our parents there. We were completly happy with the offerings at Maple Suites and thought it would be a great fit for our parents. It is a beautiful facility and grounds. The programs offered would be of interest to my parents and give them some life back more than their current living arrangements. I would highly recommend this facility.
