College Park Rehab did a good job for my mom. They treated her wound, and she does not scream anymore. They had different activities, like bingo and painting.

College Park Rehabilitation Center was inadequate. Food was terrible too. When we first got there, the dietitian and the cook came in and went over everything that my sister likes and everything that my sister couldn't eat. Well, everyday was the same thing; there was always something. Like my sister likes mashed potatoes without gravy on it, but she would get mashed potatoes with gravy all over it.

College Park is disgusting. When you walk in, the smell will just about kill you. It smells like a nasty bathroom. The patients are not cared for. It’s really sad and horrible. The nurses are nasty, and the patient to nurse ratio is really high. Dinner was not appealing at all.

I was at College Park for rehab. It's alright, but it isn’t the type of place for my mother. It’s set up like a hospital. You share a room. They take pretty good care of the people. They also give you exercise. They have a lot of people in the wheel chair, I didn’t like that but they seemed under control. I would give it a C for the food. They could probably improve the food, and some of the staff seemed pushy.

My wife was at College Park for almost two months. It was good. They took good care of her, and I had no complaints about that. The only thing is her Medicare ran out and they had to kick her out, and it’s that simple. With their help, we're trying to get Medicaid through. The staff is very good and very helpful. They kept the place really clean, but I’ve seen the same something buried under the bed that was there, the time that I was there before. So they obviously didn’t sweep every day. My wife had problems with one particular individual, and she quit coming in, so they sent somebody else there. She said she was comfortable there. When she’s in a place like that, the PT comes around, and they get people to come out and help her. She will comply, get up, walk, and do whatever they ask her to do. When she gets home I can’t get her off the couch. She won’t get up and she won’t exercise. She just won’t do it for me. But there they pushed her, and they kept applying pressure to get her to do things. They had to coax her and everything to get her to do it.

Under Staffed, too diverse of a patient base without qualified staff in each category, i.e. psyciatric, nero, cancer patients, and regular nursing home patients all mixed together. terrible food. staff underpaid, doctors don't visit frequently enough, and readmittance of past "86ed" patients.
