My husband moved to Tabitha Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. It's a huge complex. He's in long-term complete care, but there are like 13 in the house, 13 rooms, so they can have 13 patients, a nice little dining room, and a living room. It's very, very homey. They served three meals a day. There's a room to go down to, but they will take the tray to the room if needed. They encourage people to come down and that was what I was really after to get him motivated. They've been very helpful. I've already got physical therapy started or at least in the works. I'm very happy with what has happened so far. What I heard in the first two days was, "We're here to do what you need to be done", and you don't always hear that, very much patient-oriented. My husband said the food was good. I saw the board, and they have 4 or 5 activities throughout the day. It's going to take time for him to want to do that. I didn't see anything really exciting, not like the other facility. It's very expensive, more expensive than where we were at.

The best care you'll find in Lincoln!! My grandmother was a patient at Tabitha and the care can't be beat! Everyone was so kind and helpful to us during her stay. We would recommend to anyone for rehabilitation!!

PT refused to do therapy on my mom who was admitted with a broken leg that required surgery and no weight bearing for 12 weeks. because she had dementia.

The first 24 hours his dressing change hadn't been done till 2 p.m. suppose to be every 12 hours. They didn't put oxygen on him at night. He couldn't breath. He's filling up with fluid on his heart and needs a 3rd diuretic; and they won't give it to him. Because it's not on their paperwork. They made him do without pain meds and my dad had his big toe and joint removed. Where's the common sense and the compassion for your patients! I asked him to go to a care center in hopes he would recover with professionals taking care of him a week or so. Clearly that was a mistake that will be addressed tomorrow if his care isn't tended to!

Tabitha Nursing and Rehabilitation Center was very nice. They seemed very caring. Amanda was very helpful. They seemed to have a wide variety of activities. It looked like it was very well run. They had a chapel and a full range of activities. There was an exercise facility and some musical activities. The dining area seemed very nice, too. My mom was in the rehab part for a while. She was satisfied with the food and she was happy with the staff. When she needed to go to the hospital, they were right there and got her there.

The administration stuff lied to us repeatedly the patient's care and condition. They avoid communicating with power of attorney and personal representative about finances, medical and ever legal actions. They refused to allow patient to leave even when living arrangements with family were made. The stuff seemed to be in the dark about everything and certain handicap and medical accommodations were never made in the 11 month stay, which were sadly the final 11months of the patient's life.

Tabitha Health is a large community with lots of services, like meals on wheels, transportation services, exercise room, and areas where you can sit and socialize, but they had a long waiting list.

First of all, at Tabitha, the outside of the building looks fairly welcoming, which is always a nice thing about assisted living providers. Also, right as you walk in, there is a friendly "shop" to the left, in which anyone can go and purchase candy bars, magazines, and other things like that. Another good thing about tabitha was the staff. I was told by my grandfather that they treated him quite well and he never had any complaints (except about the food) which is why it didn't make the 5 star rating. The food was ok, but not the best that it could be. Overall, definitely a decent place to stay for family members or even yourself if you ever need it!
