my husband was a resident for several months. We only moved to another facility because he was eligible for a VA home. i visited him several times a week and unannounced. Always clean caring and professional. Everyone was professional and i would highly recommend Bickford to anyone seeking memory or assisted living care.

Bickford of Grand Island seemed nice. It's got a very cozy and very homey environment. The people were very kind, caring, and very helpful. We had a good tour experience. The rooms were referred to as suites rather than apartments. So they were a little bit smaller, but still, they seemed very nice. They had activities scheduled and they provided transportation. It seemed like a very warm and inviting place.

I toured Bickford of Grand Island. I think they were understaffed, and I just wasn't impressed. The rooms were very dated. I just did not have a good feeling when I went there. I didn't see any people. There was nobody out walking around. It was just eerie. I saw the dining area but nobody was eating or anything like that. It didn't look dirty, but it could stand to be updated.

My visit to Bickford of Grand Island was very good. The facility is clean, it's wonderful there, and you can tell they're caring for the residents. The people were very nice and the director took the time to show me around to different rooms according to our income. So they were wonderful. They also had a lot of nice activities going on. They have amenities like a salon, and they have a minister that goes there.

I thought Bickford of Grand Island was pretty nice if you need that sort of facility. It's something to think about for the future, but it would be a long way down. It is very, very comfortable. The people were very friendly. It was a very nice facility. It probably would fit our needs if we needed that. The people were very friendly and very courteous. The person who toured us around answered any questions we had and then showed us whatever we needed to look at.

Bickford of Grand Island was very nice. Everybody was very helpful, and everything was wonderful. The apartments were nice and beautiful. We met Tricia, and she was great. The dining area looked very pleasant. The place was very clean, tidy, and smelled good. It's just a little bit too small for my in-laws' needs right now.

I couldn't really see anything bad with Bickford of Grand Island. They were friendly and helpful. The way they treated the people that live there was very respectful. They are caring for them and for their needs. The employees were very helpful, pleasant, and encouraging. I didn't see a big library, and the big thing for me would be a library with lots of books; maybe we might have missed that. They do have games and things. They have a courtyard, a salon, and a workout area for people. They have puzzles, games, and a TV night thing. However, I would prefer to keep my mom in Hastings instead of Grand Island.

The staff was very attentive at Bickford of Grand Island. The place was warm and inviting. The food smelled great and the cookies were amazing. There wasn't anything bad about it. It was very homey and they had games and activities. I saw people out there doing puzzles, playing games, watching movies, that kind of thing. We had a very in-depth discussion and everything was discussed during my tour.

My tour at Bickford of Grand Island was okay, I like it. It was homey and I like the people. The room was okay in size. It was comfortable. The people were awesome. They were very nice and easy to talk to. They had a theater area, a hair salon, and the whirlpool room was really nice and spa-like.

I found Bickford of Grand Island awesome, even spectacular. They did a great job interacting with dad. They did everything they could, they talked to him, and they understood our needs. They actually sat down with us beforehand to figure out where I needed to be and to show us exactly what we should be looking for. The staff is very engaging, not just the people who showed us the tour, but everybody else, too -- even the maintenance guy was. The rooms were also clean. I think there was a bedroom and a living area in it. They all have the same basic layout; it's just some were a little bigger than the others, and they had three different sizes. They play bingo and lots of other games. They had a dance party when we got there, and they were all dancing with the residents. They were playing all kinds of music, and it wasn't even one specific type of music; they had everything from the 50s to 60s. They also had a beauty salon, places where a therapist could come in and do therapy there, a little movie area, and a vegetable- and flower-garden area with bird feeders that they keep full all the time. One of the things I was impressed with was it's very pet friendly. You could take your pets, and they could take care of them. They would walk them, take care of them, and clean them up. You can just have a pet, and you don't have to take care of it if you're unable to. They also offered and gave cheesy raviolis to my aunts and me, and they brought my dad a bowl of soup. They didn't even ask him; they just set it in front of him and said, "Here you go!" and he loved it.

I visited Bickford, but it cost more than I thought. It was a lovely place. The people were very nice. They contacted me several times to follow up. Overall, it’s an A-plus. The rooms were very nice with small ones and bigger ones, but in general, every one of them was clean and neat.

Everything was wonderful at Bickford Cottage. There was absolutely nothing wrong with the facility. The rooms were expensive but very nice. They had many activities, visiting entertainment, and ministers for church. I like that the facility wasn’t overly large, and it looked like everybody was happy there.

My wife and I toured Bickford of Grand Island for my mother. It was a really nice place. We really liked it. They were really nice. What impressed us was that they had good stuff with the residents, i.e., they would take them out to different deals in town, and they would take them to church, pretty much wherever they want to go. They have gardens where they could go out and work in the yard. I thought that was really nice. The grounds looked really modern looking.
