I'm in Marquis Place. They're trying to do everything they can to make us happy. The staff is very nice. Whenever you ring the button, they come right away and they're just very nice even if all you needed to do was reach something. The food is very good. It's always tasty. The only thing is they serve cinnamon toast for breakfast and then they ran out of it. The housekeeping is good. The facility is good. Value for money is excellent. We've got people giving out medicines.

The rooms at this assisted living facility are immaculate and well maintained. The staff is phenomenal, always ready to answer questions and ensure you feel confident in your decision. The smaller size of the facility makes it easier for residents to adapt and feel at home. There are always activities planned, and staff encourage residents to participate and stay engaged. My mother absolutely loves it at Marquis Place, which is a stark contrast to experience at her previous residence.

I am in Marquis Place of Elkhorn. I love the place, but the assisted living has too many dementia cases. I go to bingo and meals and that's it. I've been here almost two years, and the food has gone downhill. The portions are getting smaller, which is OK, but fresh fruit and vegetables are at a premium here. The staff is very good. Housekeeping is good. They have lots of activities, but I don't care to participate. I like to sew in my room instead. This is a very nice home. I'm very comfortable here. They take good care of you.

The rooms are very spacious and bright. I especially like the wide hallways and the way the rooms are arranged. The staff is very friendly, helpful and available. My mom is enjoying the food. Every time I have called with a question I have been able to get the answers I needed. The staff has been very helpful and responsive to my mom’s questions and needs.

The rooms at Marquis Place are perfect for elderly. They can adjust the cooling/heating as needed and can personalize the room to their liking. The food is very well prepared. My mom lives there and will comment quite often on how good it is. Plus, they get quite a bit to fill them up. The entire staff is very caring and cordial and tries their best to meet all of my mom’s needs. The majority of the staff will help you with any needs and concerns and will go above and beyond to satisfy that need or concern.

My mom has been a memory care resident at Marquis Place of Elkhorn for 2 1/2 years. My mom has Parkinson’s Disease and Lewy Body Dementia. Her mental and physical status was declining prior to becoming a resident. It was a very hard decision for our family to put her into a memory care facility. Tracy at Marquis Place of Elkhorn made the transition very easy and continues to be available anytime we have questions and/or need help. Lashonn and her clinical staff have done an amazing job taking care of my mom. I am grateful to Lashonn and her staff every single day. Their caring hearts and dedication to the residents are admirable. Because of staff interaction and a variety of activities, my mom thrived after becoming a resident. My mom is on the decline again due to her disease. I appreciate the time, patience, and attention that is still given to my mom every day. Having my mom at Marquis Place of Elkhorn has been a blessing for our family. I highly recommend their facility to anyone looking for a new home for their loved one. Thank you for everything Marquis Place of Elkhorn.

My first impression when touring Marquis Place was that it is bright and clean and has friendly staff. I also personally saw the kindness of the dining room serving staff when I joined in the Christmas party in December. Traci, the Sales Director, in particular, was very personable and helpful right from the beginning. She became my "go to" person for a while whenever we had a question or any issue, which does happen in the beginning of a new living situation. My not-so-compliant friend, who moved into Marquis in December, has adjusted well now after nine months. And other residents seem happy there which I judge from talking to them weekly when visiting my friend. I do not have experience with other assisted living facilities to make a comparison, but I think that Marquis is a good choice.

We moved my Mom from independent living to assisted living and we found that the apartment at Marquis Place was able to handle almost all of her furniture which made her happy. My Mom is a picky eater but since she has choices at meals this has not been a problem. I think she actually looks forward to meals and talking to her friends. There are also lots of activities and you can do as much or as little as you would like. We have been very happy with the care she receives and would not hesitate to recommend Marquis Place to anyone looking for an assisted living community.

I was given a tour of Marquis Place and was blown away by the kindness of the staff. The facility is beautiful and the rooms are modern and well appointed. I was left with the impression that everyone there is treated like a member of the family and well taken care of. I was assisted through this process by Tracy (one of their directors) and she was awesome. Always available to call/text she helped navigate me through the process of choosing a community for my father. There are lots of different amenities and activities for residents in both Assisted Living and Memory Care wings. The residents I talked to spoke highly of the staff and the community. If you need a place for a loved one that is full of that "family" vibe with a great staff then please consider Marquis Place.

The staff at Marquis Place are of such high quality that I have no concerns with the care that my mother-in-law receives. Prior to this, my mother also lived here and received excellent care until she passed. The staff not only cares for their residents but also for the family members that visit. I couldn’t be happier.

My Grandma has been living here happily for a year now. The staff is so friendly & they know us by name when we visit. Grandma has made friends and enjoys the group outings. She’s probably the most thankful for the visiting clergy & religious services. The facility is always clean, never a smell (unless it smells like delicious dinner) and we always feel welcome!

Our mom has been at Marquis Place for almost a year now. She is actually become more outgoing and getting around better since moving there. She hasn't fallen once since her arrival. The staff is friendly. She receives her meds twice a day, and they let me know when she needs a refill. Mom frequently takes the weekly bus rides to a variety of places. I have no complaints!

I liked Marquis Place more, from the standpoint of the people - the staff. I went in, met people, and talked to people there. They were extremely, extremely attentive, very responsive to my question, and just seemed like they were on top of things. It was a very nice facility. It was all on one floor, which was positive for me. We saw the food and saw the menus and it smelled great and looked great. They have a salon, a little library, and a Jacuzzi tub that you could go in. It was just not as extensive and as nice as the other one that I saw. It's probably average as far as the amenities go.

Marquis Place appeared to me that it was not laid out and as well-maintained as the first one I visited. The rooms were comparable in size, but they did not have outside access or anything like that. It was a little darker. I'm not sure it was maintained quite as well, especially the common area. I wasn't as favorably impressed, but not having seen the care there, all I can give is an impression of the physical appearance. The people were fine, but I can't give much other than that in terms of care, because I don't have any data or experience on that. It's just my first impression.

Marquis Place of Elkhorn is very clean, they're very friendly, and I think they take really good care of my mom. She's kind of particular about the food. I've heard good things about the food, and she'll say she doesn't know what it is some days, but she's just like that. It's a very nice facility. Part of the problem is that it's $5,300 a month, so I won't say it's value for the money.

We went to the Marquis Place of Elkhorn. It was excellent, the lady was excellent, and if they had a spot, we would have put my father there. We saw a room that was occupied, the rooms looked like they were pretty well kept up, and it was a relatively modern facility. I thought it was OK.

Marquis Place of Elkhorn is my number 2 choice. I really liked it, but I thought the rooms were kind of small. They had an activity schedule, and they had places where families could meet and have a party like a get together for a birthday. The people were super nice, but I was there on a quiet morning.

Marquis Place of Elkhorn was my top choice for Mom. I liked it because the staff and director have been there for a long time, so there isn't any turnover. It is a very modern and brand-new facility at only about 10 years old in a very good location. They showed me some of the rooms, and they looked fine. I liked the memory care unit. Even though they were under tighter surveillance, the people there still had some room to move around and not feel totally shut in, and I liked that.

I looked at several facilities, and I’m leaning toward Marquis Place. It is the one where we probably will go when the time comes. I liked the location, the layout, and the staff. It seems like it would fit my spouse’s needs. I liked that he could go outside very easily and spend as much time out there as he wants. I liked the fact that they’re not so structured and allow you to do your own thing. They would also allow me to stay overnight if I felt the need to do that. It just seemed very accommodating.

I placed my sister at Marquis Place. I’m not so happy about the fact that they don’t seem to give information about me to her. She is in memory care right now, and the facility is very clean and presentable.
