My uncle is now in MorningStar Senior Living of Billings. It's very good. Their memory care unit is excellent. They have amenities, but it's not for memory care people. They have a salon, and they have a pool there for those that are independent living. They have games and music, and they take them on outings. He's only been there a little bit now, and I was only there for a couple of days, so I'm not really up on what they're doing there, and that's why we're going back. It's a beautiful place. It's very clean and very modern. The staff is amazing and helpful. It's a lot of money, but they do a lot for him.

I stayed at the MorningStar Senior Living of Billings, I was in independent living. The layout and the grounds were all well-designed and well-laid out. They did a good job of providing comfort for the occupants and tenants. I just dealt with the housekeeping staff, dining wait staff, and the front office people. The housekeeping department was very good but the rest weren't. Overall, I was unhappy with the staff. The quality of the food and the service was very bad. I'm not degrading the individuals involved but they were understaffed and the service was bad. They could improve the dining experience and the diet of the residents. They could also improve the front office. They did not handle things in an up-and-up manner. They had one fantastic person up there, but the rest of them were not truthful. They gave what I would call a snow job when you went to them with problems. They failed to properly settle up with me on my leaving. I turned in a 30-day notice and they charged me for a full month of excess. They did not give me about a two-week refund.

The new leadership prioritizes paperwork and polices over comfort and care. In 2022 we moved my stepfather to MS. We had no issues. I had no doubt in my mind that he was well taken care of and loved. September of 2023 they announed new leadership was taking over. Since then it has been one issue and then another. Trying to communicate and resolve these issues with the new ED led to nowhere. The new nurse neglected my stepfather after a minor incident. This minor incident escalated to my stepfather no longer being strong enough to stand or speak. We removed him from the facility suddenly to avoid any further health decline. After 3 1/2 days he was no longer strong enough to stand or speak. We had to transport him by AMR. This all could have been avoided if the nurse and ED would have paid attention and listened. They did the minimal amount of work required to ensure my stepfather's wellbeing. Now he will never be able to stand and use his walker again.

MorningStar Senior Living of Billings was a nice facility. It was very clean and smelled good. They provide a lot of care, but it's according to how much you want to pay. The rooms were a nice size. The staff who assisted me was very helpful, and he seemed to know what he was talking about.

We visited MorningStar Senior Living of Billings. They don't have any availability right now. It was a very nice place, but I'm not interested in it. It was a little pricy. They showed us the rooms and things. The grounds were very nice. Everything looked very clean. It seemed pretty big, and I think it would be overwhelming for my mother. The room was nice. The staff was very well-versed and very accommodating. I was impressed by him. When we got there and we were walking through on the tour, they had a bluegrass band in there playing for some of the members there, so that was pretty cool.

I toured MorningStar Senior Living of Billings, and I think this is going to be the best fit. It was a wonderful and very informative experience. Our host explained everything very well. It was a very beautiful and clean facility. It appeared to have many activities to keep the residents busy. They offered a lot of things there. They only had one room available, and it's very, very small, which might be appropriate for some residents, but not for my mother. They do have a waiting list as others open up. The rooms for independent living are very spacious and very nice. I was able to look at their menus, and I think that there is a good variety. They had a morning discussion group that was going on when I was there. They had an exercise room, a movie theater, painting classes, and crafting.

MorningStar Senior Living of Billings was great. The rooms were extremely nice. They offer them everything from beauty shops to pools to gyms to theater rooms, and chapels. They had a whole schedule for them to do. The staff was very nice. It's just the price is way too much.

The tour I had of MorningStar Senior Living of Billings went extremely well. The young lady who took us around was very knowledgeable. We got all the information that we needed. The areas were clean, well-kept, and nicely decorated. They had cottages for independent living people, which were very nice. If you need advanced care such as nursing home accommodation, they did not have that. The dining area looked wonderful and the menu that was posted looked very nice. They had a whole calendar of activities of all kinds. They had outdoor areas. There were patios attached to some of the apartments, and then all the cottages had actual large patios.

I went to look at MorningStar Senior Living of Billings. The facility was really beautiful. It's a newer facility, so it's impeccable. They have a very sophisticated check-in, so I got the impression that they're a very secure place. The people were very attentive. The marketing manager that I met was immediately available and very accommodating. They also have cottages on site. They have a lot of activities. They were telling me that they were doing plays, and they had live music there. They are allowing some of the residents to do some social community-oriented activities. When the marketing director would meet one of the residents, she knew them by name and talked to them. I was very impressed with that.

The facility is beautiful and staff is very kind and caring. Sean is the first I have seen truly understand TBI dementia with aging and behaviors. I saw residents treated with respect and dignity and they all appeared peaceful. Our physician also said wonderful place and I know our mom will be in excellent hands.

We toured Morningstar Senior Living of Billings. We looked at a one- and two-bedroom. I thought the spaces were very good, and things looked really good. The living spaces were good. The person who took us around was very friendly and efficient. They had a kitchen with a stove and a refrigerator. If you wanted a washer and dryer, you had to bring your own in. There was a library and a theater room and those sorts of things.

My Dad lives in The Memory Care Facility and My Mom lives in The Assisted Living with a private room. I was uneasy about having my parents be away from their home, but both areas of living take great care of my parent's well being. The rooms are spacious, the staff takes pride in doting and reassuring my parents. My mom is a big card player, enjoys Sunday service, and most importantly someone will take her to see my dad everyday. Those moments are crucial.

I love MorningStar Senior Living of Billings. It's absolutely beautiful. It was awesome. I couldn't believe it. I toured the whole thing with Sean. I was so disappointed that they weren't doing some memory care or respite right now, but I think it's because of the Covid. He told me to check with them later. They had it all. The people were awesome. The place was beautiful. It's designed just very, very nice. I just thought if I need to move into someplace for assisted living, that would be it. They had plenty of things to do. It's excellent. They have lots of activities for seniors. They have get-togethers in the afternoon. You can get together and play bingo and do puzzles. They have people that will help them do these kinds of things. You can go down to the main area to have coffee or tea and sit and visit. The people that I talked to said the food was very good. The rooms were very nice. They looked very new and modern. They're not dark. They had nice lighting, and they're nice sized. They're not little tiny holes. Everybody seemed so pleasant. Some of the people didn't know what I was there for, but everybody was just so kind, pleasant, and nice.

Our family had an extremely positive experience at MorningStar’s memory care facility in Billings. My dad had Alzheimer’s and after a number of years at home we were beginning to look for residential care options. He was then diagnosed with terminal cancer, and we were facing a situation that needed a combination of hospice care and memory care. This proved to be a complicated problem to find an answer for. MorningStar was helpful in accommodating our needs. Sean, Joe and the staff were caring, attentive and very kind to us. I appreciated their level of honesty at each step. There is no perfect solution for dealing with these hard conditions, but they were professional and flexible. As the end approached quickly for dad, Morningstar took good care of him, and even allowed me to put an air mattress in the corner of the room to stay overnight. Our family was allowed to gather in his room to say our goodbyes. We will always be grateful for the care that dad received at MorningStar. We experienced it first hand, and also observed the loving care for other residents who were at various stages of their own memory care needs. Our stay at MorningStar was a short, but intense season. It was there that we said farewell to a special person in our lives. We are so thankful that we chose to put dad’s care in the hands of the people at MorningStar. Highly recommended.

I visited MorningStar Senior Living of Billings and saw the memory care. The community is very nice. They showed me a shared room and a single room. They were very clean and definitely adequate. I only met the gal that showed us through, and she's very nice. They showed me mostly just the rooms and the kitchen area. The cafeteria area is also very good. I would say the facility is very well-maintained. They discussed some of the activities they do, and they all seem good. The only thing that I really saw going on when I was there were the residents playing bingo. It also looked like the residents were being kept safe. I didn't see any issues.

MorningStar Senior Living of Billings had a lockdown type of memory care unit. It was a very big facility and it was almost like a community. They had separate duplexes, as well as one main building that had their own apartments in them. They were very nice. They had a kitchenette but almost like a full kitchen, a dining area, a separate bathroom, and a separate bedroom. It was like being at home. They had one apartment open for viewing that we were able to go in and look at. It was wonderful and comfortable, more or less like your own apartment, and the front door that you'd use to walk outside was actually right into the hallway, like a motel. Then it goes to the main doors where they could lock people down. They could leave their little apartment, but not the facility. They had all sorts of different options that seniors would like to do, like cooking classes, sewing, and painting. It was pretty high-class actually. They were really dedicated, very nice, and understanding. It was like going on vacation. You have your stuff and the food prepared for you. They had a private chef that would make everybody's dinner separately. The only thing was that it was very expensive. It's over $5,000 a month, which was out of our price range.

MorningStar Senior Living of Billings is a very nice facility, I think one of the newer facilities in town. My mom has moved into their assisted living. The upkeep is very, very good, it's very clean. All the staff is very friendly and informative. I hear they play bingo often, the seniors love their bingo. I looked at the menu for a little bit and they have a good selection of items that they switch up every week. She enjoys the food and she's pretty excited about it. I think in my mom's situation, the price is going to be worth it. It's worth every penny for her. She needs assistance so it's coming in handy.

I toured MorningStar Senior Living of Billings a couple of years ago when we were looking at moving my mom into assisted living. That place is really close, it's like 3 blocks from where my sister lives and it's a really, really nice place. I thought they were very nice, very welcoming and very friendly. I really thought they were nice people and that's one of the things we base our decisions. You want all the staff to treat your loved one just like they're one of your own relatives, and I really liked it there, it was really nice. My mom didn't have dementia, she just needed a little bit of help with the physical aspect. They had a lot of activities there, they had a gym, a place for physical therapy to do, an exercise room, and a theater room if I'm not mistaken. I don't remember, but I think they did have the pool. I was pretty impressed. I think it was very well-laid out.

The apartments are nice size. My apartment came without furniture. I was able to decorate to my style of cozy feeling. There is large closet with a wall of storage and shelves for storing a few groceries and coats. This area is hidden by folding doors. There is a microwave and a small kitchen area with counter top and small shelf . There is room for a table also. There is a large bathroom with rods for clothes, shelves for towels. The shower is a nice walk in with room for a chair The doors are large enough for wheelchair. The staff at Morning Star are wonderful caring people. If I ring my bracket someone is there within 10 minutes. They always say Yes and assist each person with help, and a smile. I have never heard anything negative of a staff member. They all pitch in and work together to please the resident. I feel like they are family. The residents have so many different activities. The last few weeks while we were in lock down to our room, the Resident sat in the doorway for hall wall Bingo. Other activities are Bunco, painting, knitting, going for walks. Excisions out for lunches and sign ups to go shopping. There is a workout room, 3foot to do water exercises and special events for Holidays. Usually a band, piano player, singers and other days people will bring a dog in. Everyone enjoys “Man’s best friend”. From 3-5 There is a happy hour where the residents will meet and visit and have a guest singer. We have a library where there are many books and a few computers. I like this room. We have a very talented young lady that is a beautician. She is always busy cutting hair or doing nails. A woman has to treat herself to a new do! When I was looking for a Assisted Living, my sister came over and looked at it and told me that she though I would really like it here. When I am around people I don’t know I am quite and shy. When I saw the home it was like a PALACE. The people were so friendly and respectful, they found out how loud and obnoxious I can be. Actually fun. With so many people it is hard to lean everyone’s name but sometimes I will call someoneE’s the wrong name and visa versa. It takes awhile to learn everyone name however at mealtime is a good time to sit at a table and visit and get to know each other better. The food is very good. We do not have just a chicken pie fixed and a different name each meal. We have pizza and a great chicken tortilla soup. Great desserts also. Another thing we do is have different dress weeks such as if it is football weekend,Pj weekend, and animal t shirt. IThis is just like home. If you get tired of visiting you can go home and take a nap. All of your needs are provided. There is not anything that is lacking to make us or you unhappy! Someone will take care of your needs and some of your wants! My favorite thing is bedtime. I love to stay up late and when I go to bed at night and smile and think.! I am not alone. If I need something or someone, there is someone just a push of a button away. I smile and Thank God for all my home and family here. Also there are Church here to once again Praise him for a snuggly bed at night and stars and wake up to a beautiful sunny day! The next day there is a beautiful yard and flowers. If I have a Dr. appt. The bus will take me and pick me up. The bus has wheel chair lift. We have a theater. And the great smell and bag of popcorn

MorningStar of Billings was large, lovely, and had a great selection, but it was at the top of my friend's price range. The staff was very pleasant, and it was in a nice location. There was a grand piano and several people were sitting around it. They have three restaurants and different room sizes, and they were all really nice. They have a swimming pool and card rooms. Anything you could ever want for your elderly loved one was there.

My mother is very happy there at MorningStar of Billings. It's a large facility. They have a library, a movie theater, different activities every day for the residents to participate in, and two different dining halls. She said the food is delicious. The rooms are very nice. Everything is posted about what is going on every day whether it's bingo, Pinnacle or going on little excursions. She loves it. The residents that I have encountered are extremely happy being there. The staff seems very caring, too. You can see there's a lot of interaction with the residents.

They are very wonderful at MorningStar of Billings. They have little social groups that meet on Friday afternoons, painting classes, lectures, and a bunch of things. My folks are getting two meals, but there are three, which is optional. They're just skipping breakfast. The staff members will do the laundry, or right down the hall, folks can do their own if they want. The staff is very thorough.

My mother lived in Morning Star, and that was a brand new beautiful place. She really liked that, but I had to move, and I couldn't leave her 900 miles away. The CNAs, the med techs and such were very good because she got sick there a few times, and they took care of her. The place in general was very nice. They hired more help. They had a least 4 med techs on each shift. I would highly recommend Morning Star.
