My uncle moved to The Arbors at Harmony Gardens. It's very nice. It's bright and they are working with us to make everything suitable for him. They're making him engage. Everything's very clean. It smells clean not like a disinfectant, but like a home that's been well taken care of. It's just a warm welcome. The decor is fresh. It doesn't look dated or rundown or secondhand. I met the nurse and another lady. She kind of showed us a little bit, and for them to go to each of the rooms, bring everybody out, feed everybody, get them situated and cared for, and there's limited on staff, but there's an interaction and it's a family atmosphere. It's not a clientele, so these women want to be there to help. My uncle has made a couple of calls to my dad, and he has to have assistance. So we're thankful that they're there to help with that. He's not complaining about the food. It seems to be a very high-end facility. It's not as expensive where we have moved him from. So, that has been a blessing.

We moved my mom into The Arbors at Harmony Gardens. It gives the residents the choice to participate or not. They encourage them to participate, but they don't force them to do that. And they have many, many activities every day that the residents can choose from. The staff is very friendly, very knowledgeable, and very encouraging. They have been very helpful. They answer your questions. I've never called and got put on hold. They're always available. The facility is clean. It's airy and light. And, they have a great outdoor area.

The Arbors at Harmony Gardens was the next level up from assisted living. It was memory care. I didn't care for that one because my in-laws were not at that point. I know they need more medical if that's the next level up, but I didn't like it because it had like the medical curtains and was more sterile. The staff members were very informative, and they told us exactly what I needed to know. If mom and dad were there, they would have to be able to do the fire escape or have a plan of escape. They would have to be able to know it in their heads. The place was really professional. It was clean, neat, orderly, and the people knew what they were doing. They showed us several of the rooms. Amenities were good. They had a secured outside a sitting area. The activities were good. They gave us a schedule on their monthly activities. We saw activities like exercises and puzzles.
