My father was at Life Care Center of Sullivan. Their physical therapy and occupational therapy for rehab needs work. It needs to be reviewed by the state or somebody who could go in there and teach them about rehab, or show them how to do it better and give them more time. When my dad was in there I went in every day. He got rehab for a total of 30 minutes in the morning, then they put him in his wheelchair and put him back in his room and he sits there for the rest of the day. So he didn't have any strength training or rehab training in his room at all. They only did all the rehabbing in the tiny rehab room that they call the gym. So he never did learn anything strength-wise; it was a waste of time. You could never get the staff ever, we're in a rural area so they quit all the time. They had to puree the food, but the taste of it and everything was okay. It wasn't dirty, it just needed updating. My father had Medicare and a supplement, but I just got a bill that shows they paid $20,000 and I paid a lot even after that. They lost his teeth, they lost his clothes, and there were lots of incidents.
