My mother was in Benedictine Living Community - St. Joseph for three weeks after a hip fracture. I was not impressed. We had issues with medication, staffing was not -- they just kind of threw mom around instead of helping her after having a fractured hip. Some of them did not care nicely for her. The food was good. It was a nice place.

I visited the assisted living part of the Living Community of St. Joseph for my stepmother. Everybody was great. The lady that showed me around was really great and I told her that my stepmom would like to have a garage. She called me back to let me know that they have a garage available. Everything was clean and seemed nice. The lady said that they will be doing a lot of remodeling. I went there a couple of months ago. They have a nice lunchroom for them to eat. They get together for different activities and there is a big room where they have different things going on.

This facility is top notch and DEFINITELY the best in the area. The workers are wonderful from dietary to nurses and nursing assistants. The activities are scheduled for those staying long term and--from what I can tell--therapy almost everyday. My grandmother spent several weeks at Living Community after being in the ICU for a month. We couldn't have asked for better help.

the staff was very good and respectful, the only thing that stopped me from giving it 5 stars was it smelled of urine at times.

My father was hospitalized and when he was discharged, he needed a place for recuperation. His doctor suggested this place because it has a skilled nursing department. He'll be there for 20days because of his Medicare but after, we need to find another place for him that accepts Medicaid. This place only has 20beds with Medicare and they give it to those who are there for long term. I like this place. The staff pay attention to his needs like giving him 3 meals a day. Furthermore, this place is clean with no smell. I will recommend this facility to others whose seeking for a place for their loved ones. This is just a good place.

The place seems clean but some of the workers can be rude to the elderly. They put things too high up on shelves for them to reach & so forth. I often hear complaints about the food as well. Other than that the facility seems alright.

They were professional, courteous and very friendly. They actually paid attention to the needs of not only the patience, but apparently the faculty as well. Many of our visits were done later in the day; but the crew always seemed to know exactly who we were and where we were going. Most of the caretakers of our family friend were very friendly, made sure to joke and generally make the person very comfortable. Constant cleaning made this a far more enjoyable place to go then most. Felt more like a confortable resort than assisted living. Also want to make note of the very nice sitting area they had outside, along with the fact that they allowed our friend to keep a birdhouse outside her window with no qualms. Highly recomend to anyone looking for a similar place. Has a very "home-esc" feel to it.
