My mother was in the rehab portion of The Neighborhoods at Quail Creek for a couple of weeks. What I like best was the proximity to my home. The least I like, and I just see it from my mother's point of view, would be called light response time, but the staff was pretty kind and professional. They fed them a lot of stewed tomatoes. It was a top choice and they served it often. I know they had activities, but she was kept pretty busy just with physical therapy and occupational therapy. They had a very nice rehab gym there. They had a dining area. The place was very clean, but every piece of furniture in the room was a little beat up. You could tell that folks with their walkers and wheelchairs were banging into them. Her stay, because she was in the rehab portion, was covered by Medicare. Had she stayed any longer in their long-term facility, it would have been about $10,000 a month and that seems expensive to me. Springfield is not that big. It's not far from the hospital. If mom didn't like the food, it was close to fast-food restaurants where I could go get her something else. It was 9 minutes from my home, so I liked that.

Room is too small for anyone to work with someone with wheel chair need Understaffed , no one will help out residents to bed or on the toilet. Found my dad alone at lunch left unattended everyone is always to busy to help the residents!

I'm currently in The Neighborhoods at Quail Creek for rehab. This is the second time I've been here. I wasn't crazy about the food, because last time it was better, and I hated the beds, they're hard. I like the overall cleanliness, and most of the nurses are pretty good. The food is terrible. It's usually cold, or lukewarm, it's never hot. The food last night was supposed to be chicken. I thought, OK, that would be good. Well, it looked more like dog food. It was terrible, horrible, horrible, horrible. The therapy staff is really good.

My father will be moving into The Neighborhoods at Quail Creek next week. It was very clean. They had a lot of different activities. It's just like a top-notch facility to us. The staff was wonderful. They answered every question I had, and they were very kind. My father is going to be in a semi-private room, and it's a pretty good size. It was so clean, and there was no odor. It had windows. They had different places where you could sit with your family. They've got a big living room with a big TV. They had a coffee bar that we could go to and sit at. They had a beauty shop and a barber shop. Each one of the neighborhoods, they call it, had its own dining room. So, it's smaller, more like a home feeling instead of one large room that everybody eats in. And they had a kitchen in those little neighborhoods.

My husband was at The Neighborhoods at Quail Creek for respite and they did a very good job. They were also very attentive. I think the last thing I liked about it was the meals because they were very high carb types of meals and he's borderline diabetic. While he's not diabetic and didn't need a diabetic diet plan, I was hoping they would give him something that would be fewer carbs so that maybe he could lose a little weight, as well as keep his blood sugar down more. The physical appearance of the place was excellent. It's very clean, very modern and with no disrepair. Everything was excellent, very clean, and in wonderful shape. I never want to badmouth anybody but there was this girl staff in particular who was on her phone 90% of the time when she was supposed to be doing stuff with my husband. Overall, it was excellent. There is just one girl who just sits on the phone all the time and I wasn't about to report her unless it became a serious situation. It was just that she wasn't that attentive sometimes. The food was good and it was a nice enough variety. I just wished there were fewer carbs. When I asked them if we could do something about the diet, they said, "Well, you can just order something different, like a salad every day". You can't have a salad for lunch and supper all the time. I understand that they can't always fine-tune every meal for people very specifically and they did give options. They had a garden patio and a couple of outdoor areas where you could sit outside to eat or just sit. They have an activity room, a larger room, where you could go in and play ball with somebody or do puzzles.

My mom is a resident of The Neighborhoods at Quail Creek. They have private rooms and they have assisted living, but mom is a little bit on a higher scale. I couldn't afford their individual rooms, but it is a fantastic place and super for rehab. She's in the rehab wing. They seem very efficient. The physical therapy group and occupational therapy have very high skills in getting someone up and going. They have excellent activities for everyone. The staff is very friendly and helpful, and any questions that I have they're ready to answer. The food is very good. I've never had their food, but I've been there when they served lunch to mom and they have lots of food, and the place smells like food all the time. They have a beauty salon. It's set up for rehabilitation, so they have a room, I guess you'd call it a gym, where they have all the equipment to help people get stronger and that sort of thing. Then they have a social area where they have games, tea parties, crafts, and group exercise.

This facility is nothing short of amazing! My mom was at another rehab center for 49 days with no improvement and in 3 weeks at Quail Creek the change is truly a miracle. Wendy, the activities director, Mindy, the speech therapist, the entire rehab team, as well as the staff in the Dogwood neighborhood are the greatest thing since slice bread to our family. We now have hope that mom will be able to come home again.

The environment at Quail Creek (The Neighborhoods at Quail Creek) is wonderful. My friend Betty is there for independent living. The apartment is great for her. The staff is wonderful. They have a gym but no restaurant. They have a once-a-month potluck activity. There's a gathering room and an exercise room.

My mother is at The Neighborhoods at Quail Creek. It is very clean, the food is very good, and the people that work there are wonderful. They care about their residents. It is very expensive, but it is very nice, and I think it is worth every penny. My mother’s room is very nice. It has a big bay window. She has a private bathroom, a sink, and cabinets. They have a community shower. They did have activities, but she is in the Alzheimer’s unit, and the only thing that is really lacking is the fact that they just really don’t have activities for them there. However, it is a very good place.

The Neighborhoods at Quail Creek was very nicely decorated, and the people were very nice, but it was really expensive. I really liked it. It seemed very nice, and they had it decorated very nicely with lots of flowers all over the place. I just thought the other place fit what my mom needed better.

Horrible experience at Quail Creek. Constant shortage of staff and turnover. Took forever for them to answer my dad when he called. Don't take anyone you love here!

The neighborhoods at the Quail Creek is a very nice place, and it is relatively new. We are very happy with what they have done for her so far. She has a nice room, and the dining area is nice. Everybody is very friendly and very cordial. They work with us on everything, so we have no complaints.

My mom was at Quail Creek for rehab after a hip fracture. She spent 63 days there and I could not say enough good things about it. She loved the open breakfast and homemade soups, superb therapy and clean surroundings. She went to the"spa" three nights a week for a jacuzzi and it helped with her pain and restless legs. Everyone was so kind and thoughtful and attentive to her needs. The fresh flowers on the tables, activities, house doctor all made her stay comparable to a nice hotel. Thanks for getting her back on her feet and back home !!

My mother spent several weeks at this facility after hip surgery. She liked the appearance of the facility and the activities that they offered there. The physical therapy was excellent. The food was OK but not great. The staff was caring and thoughtful but sometimes it seemed as though they were over burdened with too many duties (i.e. they had to feed, administer medications, clean the facility and seemed to have a high rate of new employees indicating a high turnover of staff. The nursing facility only allowed two showers/week and this was not adequate in our opinion. The appearance of the facility is very nice in comparison to other facilities in this area. Overall she was pleased with the care but felt they could improve their staff and care by hiring more employees.
