I'm at Creekside at Elfindale and I'm really happy here. It's a perfect independent living in a community that has very gorgeous grounds. Everybody is very friendly. They have taken care of us well through the COVID thing. It's just a fantastic place to live. To me, when it comes to retiring, this place is the icing on the cake. The facility is fantastic. I eat in the dining area about four or five times a month, and I've never had a bad serving of food. We have a clubhouse where there is a workout facility. And then the lodge has workout facilities, an activity room, and a library. I live in one of the duplexes, and it is affordable for me. We have a lot of trips to the Branson shows. We have a dinner trip every month. They have activities for women. We have two activity directors here that keep us busy. They have independent living, which is the duplexes. They have the lodge, which is like apartments, and that's where the dining room is. We also have on the premises an assisted living facility, a rehabilitation center, and a nursing home. The property has a creek running through it. We have trails to walk. We have deer and turkey, and other wild animals roaming the area. It's just a perfect home away from home. It's a perfect place for retired people to live in.

I really liked the area at Creekside at Elfindale. The food was delicious and very good. Creekside at Elfindale was beautiful, but I got to do more tours. I only met one lady who took us on a tour and a man who waited us. Both were very nice. The place was beautiful.

My mom moved into Creekside at Elfindale. The appliances are updated, which was the main difference from other places we looked at which were more expensive. My mom is in independent living in a duplex, so there's more privacy. The staff is wonderful and very nice. My mom can participate in all the activities in the club house for free. The dining room is excellent, amazing, and beautiful with chandeliers and windows. They can have free ice cream from the ice cream bar. My mom pays for dinner meals, but she gets a discount. You have to actually live in the main Creekside building to get all the meals covered, but my mom gets all the activities for free. The food was also one of the main things that sold us. The facility itself is very clean, updated, rustic, and beautiful. They have shuttles and go on field trips.

This retirement community is top notch. The food is delicious and very nutritious. They take care to prepare healthy menus and purchase higher quality selections, nice green vegetables, real butter and cream, etc. The residents are very happy there, at least all the ones I have met. The dining room is fancy, the facility is very clean, and there are many activities for the residents. Creekside is also well staffed with knowledgeable employees. I would feel comfortable having a loved one stay there.

Creekside of Elfindale was much larger than I needed, but it was very nice and new. They have garages and duplexes although they don?t have a lot of services. They go to various stores once a week, but if you have to go like to the doctors, you have to find your own transportation. They had apartments with three meals a day. They do have the separate units like duplexes with garages attached. They have a lovely wooded area, so you get to see animals. They had meeting rooms; there were people looking at some sort of program that came I think from National Geographic I think. The Creekside was super as far as the person who was the selling person. You?re really not talking to the people that lived there; you?re talking to somebody who is trying to make a sale of course. and she was just very passionate about her job and answered all my questions. She really liked the place where she was working; you could tell it because of the way she presented herself.

We are going to the one in Springfield called Creekside at Elfindale. They only allow pets to be at their cottages not up at the lounge. They take care of everything: all the yard work, maintenance on the cottages, and they will shovel the snow when it snows. They supply trash bags every month, and all the utilities were paid except for the telephone. It was clean, and the residents were all nice and everything like that. The ones we have met were really friendly. We’ve met one or two of our neighbors there. I will be able to look out of the window and see the lake. It was like about 2 miles from the hospital -- practically downtown and around everything. There are four major streets right there, and we are not that far. They have bingo, exercise, they go on buses around town, and they also have stuff on the site that you can do.

I was a community member at Creekside. I moved recently to be closer to my family. However if I had not had that opportunity, I would have stayed there and remained very happy. I had a two bedroom TWO car garage and deck over looking the lake. I was involved in their yoga, Zumba and volunteer opportunities in the community that kept me very busy and socially connected. They maintain lawns, and provided me with excellent housekeeping services- Michelle is out of this world. The amenities are plentiful. They call it a catered lifestyle, I definitely agree. Recommend Creekside to anyone who wants a family and country like atmosphere. Miss them all dearly.

We visited Creekside Retirement, and it was very nice. They have individual houses or villas. They were smaller than what my parents wanted. They only had a one-car garage, but they were very nice. Some of them look out on the lake, and they have a clubhouse. They have little yards that the residents maintain. The dining room was very large with many people, but we were not able to eat there.
