La Bonne Maison also offers person-centered assisted living. Our assisted living community provides a combination of gracious accommodations, supportive services, and health care. We meet the needs of seniors who may need a little help with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, and medication monitoring. When you and your family feel as though "scheduled care" by family or a home health agency is no longer meeting your needs, assisted living may be the right choice. What's more, the community's convenient location in Sikeston is close to an array of medical services offered by Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston, Southeast Medical Center and St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau. My visit with La Bonne Maison was great. They answered all of our questions. The facility was super nice, and so were the people. They have a lot to offer. They have bingo, they watch baseball games, and they have card games, and organized shopping trips on their bus. It was a good space, not too much, and not too little. My mother can bring her dog in both The Cottages and the assisted living portion of it, which was another draw. The Cottages have their own little clubhouse space, workout room, and all the appliances including washer and dryer. Everybody's been there for years, including the staff. They were knowledgeable and very familiar with the people that live there.
