My mom has moved into Hopedale Cottage. It is very small. Their staff to resident ratio is 1:6. When I walked in the door, it smelled clean. I have not tried the food, but my mom likes it. She has a private room with a little sink area in the front, where she can have a microwave and a refrigerator. It has a private bathroom, a shower, and built-in cabinets for her closet. They bring her meals, and they give her a sponge bath. She doesn't leave her room, so they take care of all of her needs. She has been there for a month now.

Hopedale Cottage was very clean. Melissa (staff) was so helpful in describing everything and telling us all the information we needed. She was so great. The rooms were very nice and very clean. They have built-in so that we don't have to take up a whole lot of furniture.

Hopedale Cottage memory care is a wonderful place. It's absolutely the best my mom has ever had. The staff is very attentive and loving. The appearance is excellent. Hopedale Cottage is $2,000 cheaper than where my mom was and so much better. My mom is encouraged to socialize. They get her up, get her to breakfast to start her day, and have afternoon activities and physical therapy. She's doing well.

My mother has moved into Hopedale Cottage. It is fine. Her room is nice and kept clean. They do a good job there. The staff members do a good job. They go on outings, they have ice cream, and they have manicures. They have lots of activities for them. The dining area is nice and clean. It is a very small community. There are really not very many residents, so it is a good size for what they have. They have an outdoor area, but my mother has to be supervised if she goes there. The staff members are excellent.

The tour at Hopedale Cottage was very good. The place was a lot smaller and the rooms are smaller. The place was farther away as well. They have apartment type rooms.

Hopedale Cottage was just out of our price range, but my wife and I thought that it would have been a good one. The staff was very warm, helpful, gracious, and everything I had hoped for. It's a small facility with room for 13 or 14 individuals, or 26 or 28 couples. It's pretty up to date.

Hopedale Cottage was a smaller place. The administrator knew my mother-in-law wasn’t happy and recommended us to the other facility. It was very small, all in one building, and more of an assisted living. The administrator and nurses were very nice. It didn’t fit with what my mother-in-law was looking for at that time. They didn’t have much land.

I was more impressed with Hopedale Cottage, but I think it is only a year or 2 old, so it is quite new. It was well lit and a little more pleasant. The rooms were a little bit bigger than the other rooms from the other community, which made it a little bit nicer. Also they have a nice, airy dining room. The staff seemed to be very professional. I thought their security seemed to be pretty good. I think they have a good operation going. It is small, but it is friendly and intimate-like. The price is probably in line with just about everybody else. The location is just right off the main highway.
