My husband passed away after being a resident of this "caring facility ", He was young and would of been resilient had he not gone into this facility. They don't give the residents adequate care, they do not care at all. Everytime we would visit he would be wet, hadn't taken a shower in days, he was doing good until he went here and then he quickly regressed. They don't work with the patients at all They basically leave you to your own demise. I know my husband would still be alive if not for going to this awful and horrid place. They also do not contact you about any changes to their care whether good or bad. I didn't get to say goodbye to my husband because they failed to contact me the day he declined or even when their became a issue with his health. Improper care and living condition. They say they see a doctor twice a week but when I asked for him to receive a primary care doctor even off the grounds they suggested I not do that because they see a doctor already. If you love your loved one please do not send them to this facility. They are also completely short staffed and the staff is not friendly at all, no bedside manner towards the patients or their families.

Very poor living conditions, try to keep patients from going to get treatment when necessary. Will not help residents with food. Our patient went downhill under their care. Poor attitude amount staff.

This facility is not committed to helping our elderly. They won't make sure they eat or have food that they will eat. Another thing is that this place is not friendly to the patients and have horrific rooms.

My father was at Autumn Oaks Caring Center post hospital stay as part of recovery. The people were nice, but their care was not. He didn't even get a shower the whole time he was there, and he was there for four weeks. He did not like the food. We talked to several of the residents there ourselves, and they said they just had to live with it. They didn't have any options. We had eaten there a couple of times, and the food was bad. It didn't smell bad in there and they kept it clean, but the patients weren't taken care of as far as cleanliness. I would go in and change his bed many times after work. His bed would be soiled, and he would call to tell them that he needed to go to the bathroom because he was supposed to be assisted. I'd have to take him to the bathroom because he's been calling and no one had come.

I was not impressed at all with the care, by the time the food was served it was cold, patient laid in urine for 3 hours, nurse screamed at patient and daughter.
