My dad has moved into Meadow Ridge Senior Living. The staff is great. It's clean. As his daughter, I can call them any time and discuss any concerns. They are very friendly and very helpful. With regard to food, I've seen what they've served, and it looks okay. I know sometimes my dad is not happy with it, but he had a wife who was a great cook, so it's hard to move beyond that. For activities, they have bingo three times a week, chair exercises, and depending on the weather, they do resident walks in the evening. They also have a trip to Walmart. One thing I like is that if Dad needs to travel to someplace within Moberly, it's part of their policy to take him where he wants to go. Residents have a refrigerator in the units, but if you want a microwave, you have to supply that yourself.

Our overall experience with Meadow Ridge Senior Living has been great. We chose this place for my brother because of the spaciousness and the hospitality of the staff and the residents. Their staff is excellent. The place is very, very clean, very neat, and very orderly. My brother's room is also spacious and very clean with a good view. He has all that he needed. He's wheelchair bound, and he has plenty of room. He really liked the food compared to the place he was at. It's quite a change from where he used to be. They are getting the other residents involved in a lot of activities and motivating them just like what a community does.

Meadow Ridge Estates was a great place. The staff was very nice and very attentive to the needs of the residents. The Director of Activity was very good, very confident, and very interested in their clients. If I'd take my parents anywhere, I'd probably take them there. They had 1- and 2-bedroom apartments with full kitchens and living room areas. Indoor garages were available which they can access from outside. They had activities going on, and the price included 2 meals a day for independent living and 3 meals for assisted living. I really liked the place. It was very clean with good security.
