Our Lady of Mercy will forever be my first recommendation to anyone in the KC area asking about Assisted Living. We moved my grandma there after she was neglected at another facility. The difference in care, culture and community at Our Lady of Mercy was such a breath of fresh air. The staff care so deeply for the residents and treat them like members of their own family. The community of residents is vibrant and fun. This is a special place and the staff here should be so proud of the hard work they do to provide love and dignity to those that deserve it most.

I was very impressed with Our Lady of Mercy Country Home. It's very nice and clean. It had a great and very caring atmosphere. The rep that showed us around was very, very knowledgeable and we're very impressed with the facility. The rooms were very nice. I think most of those places promote assisted living or permanent living. I don't think they're in the business of doing respite care. Sometimes I think there needs to be more attention on that, but I was very impressed with the lady that toured me around.

We toured Our Lady of Mercy Country Home. A young lady met with us and showed us everything, and we liked it. It was very nice and well-kept. I liked the fact that there were lots of activities going on, and we witnessed some of the activities. I liked the attitude of the staff very much. I had the feeling about it that they were doing something that they wanted to do. It was a ministry or a mission that they were accomplishing to have a nice place for elderly people to live. They're fantastic.

We went to Our Lady of Mercy Country Home. Everything looked very good. The rooms were nice. The activity listings and everything looked very good. But we just decided we're going to stay in our home. For amenities, they had everything there. They had a game room, they had libraries, and they had videos. You name it, they had it. It was very good. The staff we met were very helpful and thorough, and they did a good job for us. I spoke to other residents who live there, and they were very pleased with their meals.

My mother is a resident since Oct of 22. Before she moved there she was depressed, not motivated, and sad. After she moved, she was very happy to be making friends, joining in activities, and she liked her apartment and not having a house to take care of. The staff is excellent. Everyone is very friendly and helpful. I would recommend to anyone considering this facility.

My mom has been blessed to live at Our Lady of Mercy Country Home. She had not been eating well and was really tired of cooking for herself. The three meals a day have been wonderful for her. Breakfast is delivered to her apartment since she doesn’t get up early. She walks to the cafe for lunch with friends. She, sometimes, walks to dinner and at times, asks for the meal to be delivered if her energy is running low. Mom is 95 years old and loves the library’s selection of books. She plays cards with friends and participates in other activities as she can. Weekly housekeeping is a great perk, as is daily emptying of trash. I feel confident that she is in a caring, comfortable place with friends and staff who care about her and check on her daily. I can relax a little more, just visit when I see her and not feel as much stress about caregiving. I highly recommend that you visit Our Lady of Mercy Country Home and experience the atmosphere of Care with Dignity for yourself.

Our Lady of Mercy Country Home is just wonderful, and they have so much more staff than in some of these other places. They have been there for years, so they don't have a big turnover, and everyone's happy. I had lunch with my mother-in-law who is staying there, and it was wonderful food. They have a nice salad bar and fruit bar that they could choose from. All of them don't eat the same thing because some are diabetic, and this and that, so they have all different foods prepared. If they decide they don't want any of it, like if they want a hamburger, then they cook it for them with some french fries. They have the drawing and the painting as activities, and so far that's the only one that she has participated in, but they have others, like different types of puzzles and bingo. It's not a brand-new facility, but the part where she's in is a new part. The independent living is the original part of it.

Everything at Our Lady of Mercy Country Home was wonderful. I would pick it if my parents could afford it. It's very open, very friendly, and very updated. The staff was very knowledgeable and very empathetic. They had several activities going on while we were there and it looked like they encouraged the residents to get involved.

My sister is very comfortable in Our Lady of Mercy Country Home. I like it because the people there are very friendly and the cleanliness is good. It's a Catholic facility and it has a chapel as well as a daily mass. The staff is excellent, very caring, and they also have excellent food. They have a lot of activities and she's enjoying them.

Our Lady of Mercy Country Home is excellent. My mother-in-law resides there right now and both my wife and I have been very pleased with it. The facility is kept immaculate. The food is very good. They're very caring. I would absolutely recommend this facility to others.
