I am a friend or relative of a current/past resident

My father is in a nursing home at Twin Pines Adult Care Center. He's in a wheelchair and he's a Hoyer lift transfer. It seems very pleasant. He seems happy there. The staff is very attentive. The facility is clean and modern. When I've been to visit, there have always been puzzles out for residents to do. I know they have a van. My father doesn't use that because he doesn't get around very well. They take them to local shopping and stuff like that. I have been there for one meal, and the food was fine. He started there in the rehab unit. It's a hospital kind of setup. We're waiting for a regular long-term room to be opened, so he's still on the rehab side. They're very helpful.

I am a friend or relative of a resident

In the 5 years my grandfather has resided at Twin Pines, I have nothing but good things to say about the facility. The staff always treat him with great respect and honor. When ever there is an issue with him, they are very nice and courteous with him. The meals they serve he actually enjoys. They have activities that he gets to participate in and tries to keep him involved with everyday life. The physicians that reside over him are very caring and thourough. We are informed constantly of his status and asked repeatidly if there is anything they can do to help him more. I am so pleased with this facility, I would suggest it to anyone.
