My mother was at Wildwood Ranch before they kicked her out. The facility was exceptional, beautiful, and brand new. The food was good, and most of the staff was wonderful. After Mom was moved out of Wildwood, I was told that there were a few nursing assistants picking on her. She has babies that she is attached to, and I was told that there was a few who were acting like they were pinching the baby’s head and trying to stir my mother up. But I didn’t know that until after she had been moved out. Other than that, all the people there seemed very friendly. They all loved my mother, and everybody in the facility knew her. In fact, they were naming their animals after my mother. For the 2 years that we were there, it was a good time. But, she got into some residents' stuff, and every time I came to visit, I would gather anything up that belonged to somebody else and give it back. Every once in a while, she would get mad and curse at them or take her clothes off. I was really happy with them with a lot of things, but with other things, I wasn’t at all.

The facility is beautiful, but the staff is horrible. An administrator named Dan, in particular, is especially uncaring and cruel. My Aunt is lying in bed, suffering from severe bed sores, and the staff will not re-position her or do anything to assist with my Aunt's suffering. If she were in ANY other facility or hopsital, she would be turned on her side sometimes and the staff would use pillows to prop her in order to prevent this. Bed sores are completely preventable. The only reason patients get them is due to lazy or uncaring staff. The people at this facility do not care about their patients. I want other families to know before you check your family member into this facility, especially during the pandemic when you cannot check on your love one personally on a regular basis, think twice. Your family member is no more than a monetry value to these administrators. I have visited many nursing and assisted living facilities and I have never witnessed anything like what goes on in this place. Please choose another facility.
