We toured Bristol Manor Eldon Missouri. It was clean. The young lady who showed us around was very friendly and knowledgeable. My greatest concern is that it is not secure. What they do is provide the same care my mom's getting in her sister's house. They would see to it that she takes her medication, which is supposed to. They would see to it that she has a good meal to eat. They had some areas where she could get out, visit, and walk with the other folks. The apartment is what I would call homey. It wouldn't be great by any means, but it wasn't institutional either. There's no cooking allowed in the rooms. So there'd be no need for a microwave. I would have to assume that there's like a community refrigerator in the kitchen area.
