It is OK. They’re taking care of us and that’s what matters. It’s the best around. We have a two-bedroom that looks great. The food is good and better than the kind of food you eat outside. There’s so many things going on. We have different programs. The staff is very good. They come here all the time to check on my wife.

The Bungalows at Branson Meadows was very nice, clean and fairly new. Their services were pretty comparable to everywhere else, but you don't feel as welcomed there. The day that we were there, the staff members were just very busy and not as interested in us or what they needed to show us. They were kind of in a hurry to get us in and out that kind of thing. So I think they could have done a much better job of selling the place. The dining area looked fine though. The room had a little kitchenette and their own little bathroom. All the rooms had nice walk-in showers.

I toured this facility awhile back and the staff were so friendly, the activities director had so many fun activities planned throughout the month, and the rooms looked nice!

The tour we had at The Bungalows at Branson Meadows was very nice and the people were very friendly. The entryway was pleasant and the staff was pleasant. They had an open area where they often had Bible study or games or musical presentations. And there was a library around the fireplace, which was inviting. The only thing we found that we disliked was the unit available was a 1-bedroom apartment, and the doors into the bedroom and the bathroom and the walk-in closet all ran into each other. You would have to close one door before you could open another, and it was certainly not something someone in a wheelchair could manage. Otherwise, everything was lovely. The building was in lovely condition. The dining room was friendly and open. It looked like any restaurant you would go to.

The Bungalows at Branson Meadows was very nice. The people seemed very nice. The food smelled awesome and it was just a very well-kept facility. We saw a studio. We toured two different rooms, one where somebody had just moved out, so it wasn't cleaned yet. They said that that's not normally their procedure to let people look, but they really thought that this room would suit my father. That's why they showed us that one, but the one that we'd seen that was set up was beautiful. There was a pool table, they had movie nights, playing cards, a piano, people come in to play music, and they did have a private dining area in case you wanted to have dinner with your family. Everybody was very friendly. The director was very friendly. They keep on wanting to know whether or not he was still interested. They kept in touch with us.

We went to The Bungalows at Branson Meadows. We liked it very much, but my father-in-law's dementia was just too far gone for him to be a good candidate for their facility. The executive director, Candy, was very helpful. She met with us a couple of different times and offered up different options for my him once it was determined that his dementia was too far advanced for their facility. She followed up with me several times with phone calls, so she was very helpful. We were impressed with how updated it was and how very nice and friendly, it seemed like a nice place to live. I do know that they had a lovely sitting room with an aviary in it with some actual birds. And it was just very warm and inviting. The staff was warm and caring, and very interested in our situation.

It is very clean and a little more of an established community. They're somewhere between independent living and assisted living. They have an activities director there and they also have good transportation capabilities in Branson. They have a calendar of activities for the folks. We saw them ripping out old carpets and putting in new carpets for residents. The rooms were pretty nice and they're all very different. We've looked at about five rooms and the way it's laid out is all different. They also have a big common area on the main floor, and there are also several common areas off of the main area and on the bottom floor. They have a chef there full time. They have a barber or a beautician that comes in once or twice a week too. I observed their activity director doing some one-on-one stuff with a hundred-year old lady, and I also saw three other people doing some word games and puzzles. I talked to a lot of people there too who all indicated that the food was good and they like being there.
