This place does NOT have televisions in the room. They have cable and if the person (patient) wants to watch TV they have to go to another room, which is bad considering the people that can't get out of the bed. TV has to be provided by the family.

In my recent experience with the Choctaw Residential Center, where my Aunt lives, I have always noticed that the place was very accessible and well taken care of from the time I turn in the drive. On the outside, the lawn, hedges, and trees are well cared for and the yard is clean. When it comes to finding a place to park the lot usually has many extra spaces along with an overflow lot on the side of the building. When I enter the facility, the staff immediately notice and greet me and offer any assistance that I may require. Since my Aunt currently stays at the center, I'm usually going to visit her. Inside, when I pass the eating area, there is usually residents and their relatives sitting in there eating and visiting. The area is usually clean and there is plenty access for wheelchairs. In my Aunt's room, it's usually quiet and the temperature is usually kind of chilly. She has all the amenities that she requires such as, bathroom, television, emergency call pad, etc.I am usually happy when I leave because if something is amiss she usually lets us know. She is usually dressed in the hospital gown that's supplied to the people and patients that aren't able to wear natural attire. When I am ready to leave the staff usually ask me to return if I get the chance. The nurses and staff has always been friendly and courteous on every visit.
