My mom stayed at Brookdale Meridian. It was wonderful. They were very caring and on top of what was wrong with my mother. They communicated with us. The rooms were beautiful and very spacious. My mother didn't complain about the food, so that was good. They had COVID, so my mom really didn't get to participate in a lot of stuff. The facility was beautiful and well taken care of. We don't have any complaints.

I went to Brookdale Meridian. There was nothing about it that I didn't like, because the people were absolutely wonderful. It was clean and it was very friendly. And when I walked in the door I was greeted, and I was immediately dealt with. I didn't have to do a lot of waiting. And they were very, very compassionate. I just liked the whole vibe of the whole atmosphere. I had a feeling that they wanted to help and they were willing to help. They even took my phone number, because at the time I wasn't sure what was going to happen with my cousin, so they took my phone number and gave me theirs and told me to call them back in three weeks if I found that I needed a place, because he was coming out of the hospital in three weeks. But things just took a turn for the best and I didn't need them. And they made it known that they would be there in the future if I needed them. I'm very pleased. I was very pleased with the place. I saw a data room, but it may just be a social room. But there were nice tables and nice chairs, and it was spacious. It wasn't crammed in and it was clean. Another thing that drew me to that place too was the outside appearance. The outside appearance was beautiful. It was well landscaped and it was well kept up. A client was sitting there in a rocking chair socializing. It didn't look like a place where people live for care. It really looked like a home. The people outside were really friendly, upbeat, and cheerful. It really just had a family atmosphere to it.

Brookdale Meridian was a great place. The staff was excellent. Everybody was friendly. The facility was beautiful. Everything was just topnotch. I would recommend it to anybody. The rooms were nice and equipped with a microwave and a refrigerator. They had room to put your couch and everything, and it was adequate in space. The food was good. They have a menu, but they can fix whatever you want. They have a lot of activities for the elderly, playing bingo and different things like that, plus they take them shopping to the mall. The staff has adequate knowledge of what's going on there and what to expect from somebody elderly. It's well kept, and it's very beautiful outside and inside. They have a courtyard outside where they can go and sit. It's real nice.

Everything about Brookdale Meridian was real nice. I toured the memory care area and the lady was real good and real nice. It was clean. They had a beauty salon and a game room. It's not too far from the hospitals. The price was just too high.

We went and toured Brookdale Meridian. That's an amazing facility. If my mother-in-law were in a better situation physically, I would highly recommend it. I think it's a wonderful facility. They have a large number of activities for the residents to do. We were there during the Christmas break, and they had an event where all the families were wrapping gifts, and they were doing a thing where the residents could wrap presents and just participate. It was nice. The facility is clean, and they're constantly updating. The staff that we met was very kind, very thoughtful, and very generous. The rent price rates that they quoted me were fine. It was priced correctly. The services and the cost were perfect for me. I wish I could get her in there right now. Most of the residents there are female. Their rooms do not have kitchens, and they can't cook. But what they do, which I thought was neat, is they have a day like if a resident got a dish that she is proud of and wants to present, they can go into this kitchen area with a staff member and the staff member helps them prepare that food, so that they still feel like they have something of their former life with them. I loved that; I thought that was the greatest thing because, from my personal experience, my mother-in-law's major complaint is that we would not let her cook. Also, the room that they showed us that was available for her, was perfect. I just wish I could have gotten her in it.

We found Brookdale Meridian for my sister-in-law. Everything seems to be fine, though it's kind of hard with the coronavirus. I couldn't give you any kind of comment because we are not allowed to go in. Everything is working out fine for us for now. They have certain games, they'll have a movie, but right now they can't do a whole lot. They bring the food to her room, and I haven't heard a complaint about it, so I think it's OK.

Formerly Emeritus, Brookdale took over this facility a couple of years ago. They did a great job remodeling the entire facility however the same problem that has evidently existed for years has not changed at all..................the food! The food simply put is terrible and evidently not going to change as there is no way the number of food complaints could not have been overlooked by upper management!..............THEY JUST DON'T CARE! Save your loved one much grief and find another facility! ..................ZERO RATING!

Brookdale was a nice place with nice rooms and activities every day for the residents. The building was nice, but they were about to redecorate. The staff member we met was very helpful. She took us around on a tour and explained things to us.

The rooms of Emeritus at Silver Leaf Manor are nice. They seem to care about the people there. I think they have a lot of stuff going on, like they take the residents out to church, they could take them on a bus if they need to go somewhere, and they have dominos and bingo. My mom seems to be OK with that. I think she is happy, considering she'd rather be on her own. The place is pretty clean. I think they have not washed her clothes a couple of times, but we've had somebody else do that. I just want them to make sure that they wash her clothes and that she eats three meals a day. That is all I care about.

Emeritus was excellent. The place was clean and well kept. It had a very good atmosphere. They were very caring with the people. I liked the lady that I talked to because she was very helpful and she's full of information. Just the way she talked made me feel comfortable.

My granmother checked in here when I was 21. She was 91 years old. She has slight dementia and so it was safer for her to live where she wasn't alone. From what I've seen her facilities are always very clean, she has friends there because it's a small Mississippi town where everyone knows everyone. She prefers to cook for herself so we have her come stay with us alot because she enjoys cooking us dinner and its only a 20 minute drive. She Enjoys her freedom in the community. Staff is nice, each person is assigned a primary nurse who usually has between 5-10 residents they are always on call for. I can think of nothing wrong with this place, Granny loves it and that makes us happy.
