My mom has moved to Countrywood Manor Assisted Living and the experience has been good. The general manager there has been great, we've been very grateful, and she's able to help put everything together and has a very good personality. I have no complaints about them. The staff has been good, it's been a little short since COVID, which put a strain on a few things, but it seems like they're starting to get better. I would describe the food as pretty good, my mother would describe it as not so great, but she's a very picky eater. I don't think the nutritional value is the greatest at this point, I think they could do better in that area. They have a gym, they have a therapist, a dining room, a sitting room where they can come in and watch a large TV and they have a social area. They have bingo, they have church groups come in, and quite a bit of activities. I would say that they need to bring in a nutritionist to make sure, that's the biggest for me right now.

My father-in-law moved into Countrywood Manor Assisted Living & Lakeview Place Dementia Care a few weeks ago. The room is pretty basic. You can add everything to it. It was nice and clean. It was a decent size. There wasn't anything fancy because we wanted to put him in a different place, but it still fit his needs. It's a good community. It seems like the people that work there like their job, and that goes a long way. I know they bring church in. I think they have some crafts, bingo, and your standard stuff. They had a general room with a large TV, too. It's kind of a common area for them to gather.

My grandmother moved into Countrywood Plantation. They have sports and recreation. The staff has been great, they are accommodating, open, and welcoming. The room is clean, comfortable, and cozy. She's satisfied with the food. They have common areas, a dining hall, recreation room, good gathering space, and they're all clean and well kept.

A very loving and caring environment. They treat patients with respect and care. They keep the patients clean, fed, and encourage social activities and exercise. The patients act like one big family as well as the employees caring for them. I encourage anyone with a loved one that needs assistance to check out Countrywood Plantation. I think you would be very pleased with the atmosphere, love and caring that is shown for all their patients.
