I found Windham House of Hattiesburg for my husband. Right now, he's in therapy. It's very good. I'm very pleased with them. The patients seem very happy. The food is good which means a lot to my husband. It's just a very warm place. The staff is very caring. You can tell they care about each patient. It's an older facility, so they're not new rooms but they are very clean and very spacious. Upkeep and maintenance seem good. It's an older building and you can tell there's been wear and tear on it, but it's well kept. They dine in the room a lot of the time. He is still dining in his room more than out. He's not a real social person. They're working on it, but they haven't gotten there yet. As far as I can tell, it's worth the money.

My grandfather was at Windham House for about a little over a year. He was almost a hundred and one when he passed away and that facility treated him very well. So, when my mother felt bad and felt that she needed a home, we chose Windham House. We liked that it was convenient and clean. The nurses, aides and everybody there were really nice and they cared about the patients. The food was very good. My mother she seemed to like it and she ate very well.

From what I see & from what my great uncle tells me The Windham House of Hattiesburg has excellent staff. Good and caring nurses. The facility is also very clean and very homey, not like most facilities around here. And they treat their patients with respect, the way they would treat a member of their own family. The only thing I do not like apout this place is you can't see your family member everyday or as often as you like and you can't just get up and leave when you're ready to, but other than that very good place to be, would recommend to any and everyone.

The building was very nice, very clean, and very well kept. The landscape surrounding the building was lovely. The staff were all friendly and were there willing to assist. The food they served my grandmother was nice and she never complained, which was great. I felt that it might of been a small facility, but I guess that made it have a more at home feel rather than a hospital like atmosphere. My grandmother felt independent there in a way, the nurses and staff didn't smother her like she needed her hand held. At the facility she was able to live on her own in a very nice, well kept room. I felt at first that it was kind of expensive letting my grandmother live the rest of her days there, but she enjoyed her time. I can't say that I'd want to be put in this assisted-living facility, but I am glad it was there for my grandmother.
