My aunt moved to Crescent Landing at Hattiesburg. I was looking for a place where she could take her little lap puppy with her, and they allowed it. Her apartment is perfect. The staff is very nice. My aunt said the food was good. Upstairs they have card tables where you can play rook and bridge. They play Mexican trains. They have a piano up there. Some of the residents play the piano and they have groups that come in and sing. In her room, they come and clean every day, and they do a deep cleaning once a week.

We went to Crescent Landing at Hattiesburg. We like that they're remodeling it at the moment. They're updating the flooring and the furniture, so it ought to be nice within a month or so. We like that my mother-in-law's unit is going to be remodeled when she moves in. So we have new cabinets and it's much bigger than anything we've looked at for memory care. The room that we chose is very close to the dining area. It looked like we met all the staff for the day, and they had all three people stay up all the time, which we liked. We feel very comfortable because they check on them every two hours through the night. All the staff seemed nice. We saw them interacting with other patients, and they were very caring and seemed like they were interested in the patients as they worked with them.

I liked the atmosphere at Crescent Landing at Hattiesburg a lot. I think the staff was very knowledgeable and helpful. They showed me a movie room, and I know they had physical therapy there. The rooms are very nice and the closet space is perfect. It's very clean, although they're going to start remodeling. It's right next to a hospital and restaurant. That's probably the place that we'll choose.

I toured Crescent Landing at Hattiesburg. I liked the location best. It's a clean, neat place. Everything was in order. They were well staffed. And the thing I liked the least was the cost. They were all very knowledgeable, friendly, and answered all of my questions. They have all the amenities for assisted living. They had a gym, a salon, a library, and washers and dryers if you wanted to wash your clothes. But they also do washing once a week.

We've toured Crescent Landing at Hattiesburg, which is located right behind Wesley Medical Center. The place was great and we liked it. The rooms were nice, we looked at a single-occupancy room that was empty. They had a choir practice going on with some of the residents, they have prayer meetings, and on Wednesdays and Sundays, they have church in the afternoon. They have activities every day, and they will take them somewhere too if they want to go, or just to get them out. It's very clean and the dining area was nice. I didn't see any negative there at all. The memory care center had its own courtyard where people could go out and still be safe. They were playing a memory game with the residents there, and one of the ladies in the front was asking them questions and they had to get points to win a prize. She would say, "All right, I want somebody to tell me what you would find in a bakery that you might also call your spouse or mate." All hands went up and they were answering "honey" or "sugar", they were having a lot of fun. So I was glad to see that they had their memory care patients engaged. The person giving me the tour said that they have something going on with them, a lot. They were all dressed nicely with their hair brushed, nobody looked like a bag lady, so that was impressive too. It's a newer building and the staff was really good. The room had a sitting area, a bathroom, and a little kitchen area.

The lady who took us around was very nice, helpful and informative. The facilities were older, but still very nice. They had a lot of activities and it would be nice to live there. They had laundry services and someone to come and clean your room.

It was very professional. They have the Wii, bingo, movies, cards, and chair aerobics. They have a mall within a quarter of a mile. They have several shopping areas and restaurants within the 5-mile radius of it, and a hospital is half a mile from it.

It seemed very clean, nice and comfortable. It was maybe a better facility for somebody that didn't have dementia. It may be kind of lonely for somebody that did have it.
