I am/was a resident of this facility

The room was ok.Most if the food was ok. My complaint is with the staff. Some of the CNA s are very rude and uncaring, working just for a check, do not care for patients. Had to wait forever at night when you turn on your light when you need to go to the bathroom. They definitely need to get rid of some of them that party all night so loud they keep patients awake with music and laughing, it is a real problem . I would not recommend this place to anyone.

I am a friend or relative of a current/past resident

The room was clean that my family member stayed in. The nurses and therapist were nice, but Administration needs to have training on how to speak with Resident families. I have never seen someone be so unprofessional , rude, and nasty when dealing with the public. All the people that work there don't fall under this umbrella, but when you have one or two people, this can make the entire company look bad. Always do your research before placing your family member in a nursing home. As far as activities, my family member never said anything about doing anything.

I visited this facility

Visited my brother who was in rehabilitation after the hospital made a referral. We needed him closer to Family in another state. We had trouble with a staff member who was rude and made it difficult for us to transfer our brother back home to his Family. She was not cooperative in sending emails to get our brother transferred. She was so rude to other facilities we were trying to get our brother in. This is not a skilled facility that I would recommend. Being kind to others matters a lot

I am a friend or relative of a current/past resident

My sister has been there for the past 98 days rehabing from a series of strokes and a heart attack. Because of her limited mobility she requires quite a bit of assistance. I am extremely please with the tender and professional care she has received from the techs, nurses, and therapy team. when she gets out of the hospital again, this is the only place I want her to be.

Called to inquire rates, etc. Rudist accounts person, administrative. Talked back. If this is what the admin staff is like what is the care staff line. Wouldn’t put my dog in here. Rude, sassy, unprofessional.

I am a friend or relative of a current/past resident

My mother was in rehab at Gulfport Care Center. It's convenient for me because it's right there, and I was pleased with the personnel. I initially chose it for convenience, but they also took care of my mom. The appearance of the place was good. I had no problems with them and it was clean. The person who showed me around when I toured the facility was professional. We weren't there very long, but I was pleased with our experience there. They have activities and they also gave my mother manicures and things like that. Her room there was clean and had the bare necessities, like a bathroom and so forth.

I am a friend or relative of a current/past resident

My mom went there for short term rehab after a surgery and it was awful. They played music all night, the food wasn't edible, the nursing staff/CNA staff were very uncaring and not helpful. My mom said she'd rather die than ever go back.
